FYI, I want this to be as clear as water. I'm not defending this game. I'm not belittling McShea for disliking it. In fact, I wasn't looking forward to it at all, but seriously, check the description for the review on YouTube. It's funny how they imply that McShea had expectations, but that article he wrote about the game weeks ago tell me that is bulls***. They were either lowered overtime or he hardly had any at all.
Looked pretty lame to being with, honestly.
This.
So uninspired...up there with NSMB2 level of lame retread.

From the footage released did ANYONE have any high expectations? Boring game turned out boring.

when it was first shown? I got hyped.
The Latest Footage? Hype boner went down.

Maybe not, but my main point is that GS' YouTube channel is misleading by the video description of the review by saying something that is easily contradicted on their own site.

Who cares?
Tom is a Vita fanboy and has been pretty anti Nintendo for some time. This is all based off of the Gamespot Gameplay podcast. He gushed over the Vita time and time again. But the strange thing is that it was over multiplats like Spelunky and Hotline Miami. I don't think he cared for any of the exclusives but whatever.

What's wrong with enjoying Spelunky and Hotline miami on the vita?

So misleading info about the person reviewing is okay now?

Nothing. But those games were selling points according to Tom. He would go on long rants about how he loves the Vita and then lists multiplats as the reason. Anyone with any computer could run those games. And don't get me wrong they are good games on the Vita. I own them both on Vita myself.

@Desmonic: I would reply with #GoFuckYourSelf but luckily you're being sarcastic.
Is he? :P
Why can't the 3DS get a game in the league of Spelunky or Hotline Miami? We're stuck with inferior platformers
.
Zelda A link between worlds.
Not to mention I can play spelunky on my 360 and Hotline Miami on my PC,

It's just stupid video games...electronic entertainment...who the fudge cares? Honestly? What does it matter?
Or the game might not be that great
Never said it was.
Well McShea'd would seem to imply he gave it a lower score than deserved
Oh, ok.
Reviews overall are pretty mixed for this game. Will probably get the game regardless, though will not be expecting greatness from it.
5 is a good score.
In the Mcshea scale.
he actually uses the 1-10 scale instead of 7-10 scale.
(GS Review + IGN Review) / 2 = Real Score
I find this formula is foolproof. This game is a 6.45.
Almost like its Meta score!
Wasn't there supposed to be a Yoshi game for the WiiU as well, or was this it?
Why the hell would nintendo Murder the followup to one of their best games, everything about this game looks like garbage.

Honestly they are selling points. If you want something extremely portable (smaller than a laptop) to play some great indie games on then Vita is the machine for you. It almost made me think about buying one, but like you said they are after all multiplats and I do have a laptop that can run them. The extra expenses to get a Vita running just isn't worth it to me.
@speedfreak48t5p: not even close. Link Between Worlds is superb but it's not anywhere near the level of excellence that Hotline Miami or Spelunky exude. Those two games not only are suited for the Vita better than any other platform but actually have replay value unlike Link Between Worlds.
