Xbox: Developer_Direct January 25th, Starfield Deep Dive Coming!

Looks like 2023 is off to a great start for Xbox, which comes as no surprise. It appears as though MS is going to focus on games coming in thenext few months, including a dedicated deep dive for Starfield. A game that big deserves its own show, no doubt.

Fans should tune in on Xbox channels (Twitch,YouTube) and Bethesda channels (Twitch,YouTube) at 12pm PT/3pm ET, January 25 to see all the latest on:

• The Elder Scrolls Online: Studio Director Matt Firor will unveil 2023’s major Chapter update, including the latest regions of Tamriel to become playable in ESO, as well as a major new feature coming in the game’s biggest update this year. The Developer_Direct will be immediately followed by the full, standalone ESO Chapter Reveal Event, hosted by Zenimax Online Studios, which will provide all the in-depth details ESO players will be keen to know.
• Forza Motorsport: The team at Turn 10 Studios have been hard at work, bringing fans the next generation of Forza Motorsport, built from the ground up to take advantage of Xbox Series X|S. Forza Motorsport is back, and we can’t wait to share more gameplay and exciting new details.

Will the deep dive be in sub 30fps? Because if it is even after all the criticism they've got about shitty frame rate in their showcase, you can bet your ass the game will be running at no more than 30fps on the X. This ugly and at 30fps😁

Xbox and Bethesda to Present Developer_Direct Livestream on January 25

Xbox and Bethesda will present a Developer_Direct on Wednesday, January 25, providing fans with an inside look at some of the games coming to Xbox, PC and Game Pass over the next few months.

Presented by the game creators themselves from studios including Arkane Austin, Mojang Studios, Turn 10 Studios, and ZeniMax Online Studios, the Developer_Direct will focus on big features, extended gameplay showcases, and the latest info for Xbox games launching in the next few months, including The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall.

To dedicate the proper amount of time for a deep dive into Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield, a standalone show is in the works.

I hope they figure out how to make Forza a proper online racing game. GT managed to do it.

Forza has a great online backbone. But they need to dump the hopper system.

I'm surprised MS isn't saving Starfield showing for E3 2023 as we're heading back in person this coming June but hey, I'm down as early as January 2023 so let's do it!

I'm still excited about Starfield as I have it up on my Steam wishlist.

Damn! Nearly 5 years after they started acquiring studios we still have nothing to see anything from them apart from the projects that were already well under development before acquisition like Starfield and Redfall. It baffles me how mismanaged games development is at MS unlike th rest of their business.

Hopefully it’s running at 15 fps then the 12 that was shown before

Excellent. Am very hyped for Starfield and Forza Motorsport. Am somewhat interested in Redfall. Will certainly watch these shows myself.

@kvallyx: I hope Starfield is good. It reminds me of NMS but with an aesthetic that's less 70s sci-fi and more 2000s sci-fi. I was surprised to learn that it was Bethesda's first new original game in a long time.
