@sts106mat: No, you didn't spoil anything. Its just funny you quit at the same point where I am currently.

Infamous SS looks stupidly pretty sometimes and is just plain fun. I need to get Killzone.
The joke is Infamous (an open world sand box game) is being compared graphically to Ryse a linear quick time event button game that belongs on iPads.
Ryse only looks great during cutscenes and just good to decent the rest of the time, very inconsistent. KSR is actually a very nice looking game (if you ignore the avatars) with insane water and very detailed objects, RARE's engine on a different (better) game would produce spectacular looking visuals. DR3 looked so good pre-release in all the promotion screen shots but the actual game "looks" deceptively last gen were it not for the sheer number of npcs. The multiplats are doing a better job at illustrating good visuals with the xb1 than its exclusives so far. TR is xb1's best looking game imo followed by bf4. Titanfall also looks quite nice due to its very good art direction despite not being a tech marvel. Anyway, if mk8 can impress visually on a wii-u there is no need to be worried about the xb1... studios adopting a reliance on strong visual design elements rather than pushing the newest rendering buzzwords will do wonders for xb1 as titanfall manages to prove.
Yep! Ps4 has yet to show me a game that looks better then Ryse.
Haven't seen any PS4 games I'm assuming?
Of course i have i own a PS4. Nothing on PS4 comes close to looking as good as Ryse.
Visuals will progress as the hardware generation hits it stride. That being said, I get aggravated when people only ask for graphics in their games.
ISS impressed me when I started it up; however I got bored of the game after I defeated the first concrete boss and unlocked a new section of the city. The city really felt dead to me. Watchdogs looks worse visually, but the city feels a lot more "alive."
I really hope developers find a balance instead of spending all of their time attempting to quench a thirst from gamers that can never be satisfied.
I am sure Xbox games will improve in visuals as the generation continues, but really investing in new exclusive content would be something I would focus on if I worked for Microsoft. They still haven't convinced me that I need a Xbox.

BS so the Forrest scene is just avg. Its the best scene I've seen this gen. The lighting is some of the best so far. Such bs
Gunna look and feel exactly the same as PS4 games, with only one exception that I can think of off the top of my head (Tomb Raider). It's going to be about exclusives this gen, because extra triangles only go so far.
>leave country for six months
>return
>see how gamespot is doing
>people are still arguing about the graphics in literally the exact same games they were arguing about six months ago
It's been real guys

Ok. Really not much to say.
not a single screenshot in there looks like the actual the game, those are bullshots, theres no jaggies and better illumination
@Animal-Mother:
As much as I love SF4, KI does have better visuals(I play the PC SSF4AE for reference benched at around 200 fps). Kinect Sports Rivals and the in game shots of Dead Rising 3 don't look impressive but the rest really does. Honestly I thought the best looking game I'd play until recently was Tomb Raider PC, I haven't gotten too many new games, but ATM The best looking game I've played is Mario Kart 8.
