X1 has already shown impressive visuals ( 56K )

As a PC gamer that still finds Crysis 3 maxed out on pc to be the most graphically advanced game available, i still have to agree. I have no problem saying that Ryse and Infamous look great. You can clearly see the leap in gens.

The consoles are not that impressive IMHO, but i just can't agree that teh leap, improvements and quality isn't there for both.

I do agree the PS4 is definitely stronger, but when i see fanboys think that it's 100x superior, specially when the PS4 itself is more like a lower tier pc, i just facepalm.

xbone will have better looking game than those launch game.

Well, it actually has - in the UK, in Scandinavia, South Africa and basically ANY English speaking territory. I mean at least as well as Sony, if not more. The rest was more or less in favour of Sony.

I wasn't really serious when I wrote that. I was just fed up with some biased attitude I detected. To me graphics are one of the parts of the equation as well. Never the most important one nevertheless.

Ok maybe misworded that a bit. When has it sold as STRONGLY as competing platforms.

Ryse has potential to look superb. If it were on PC, it would reach that potential but since it's on a Potato, it can never ascend to greatness and must remain in low-res, low framerate, medium graphics peasantry.

@Animal-Mother: Ferrari is a "premium" car that gets outsold by Chevy and Kia. Premium is still premium.

Ryse is actually quite good looking.

Ryse looks fantastic but has some soft look to it.

SSO looks fun.

How's it premium when it costs the same as a PS4 now? Premium products don't have their price plummet shortly after launch to match their apparently non-premium competition.

And if you think those looked good, imagine what better hardware could have accomplished!

I agree with pretty much everything you said cain. I do not own and Xbox One, but it definitely is no slouch when it comes to visual potential compared to the PS4 if Ryse is anything to go by. Yes, it's a linear corridor based game, but it's looking like the The Order 1886 will be too.

It would be amazing to see project beast with visuals approaching the CG openings of darksouls.

@deadline-zero0: I don't think it was the consoles that held back WD. Especially since PC performance is so poor. PS3 and 360 May have had something to do with it but not the new consoles.

That's what it comes down to really. I know my favorite series, Halo is on Xbox, so I buy an Xbox. But I have owned every PS as well. I just wait until something makes say I want one NOW. Nothing so far has. Although I chose to have a friend build me a great PC off New Egg, so that's where money went.

Expected Ryse and was not disappointed. The rest of them are a joke. LOL 720p Dead Rising and Killer Instinct. Kinect Sports Rivals and Max Curse of...snort.

Haters are going to hate! XBOX ONE is a very good gaming system that is also a very good media hub something that the PS4 IS NOT!!!! The games on XBOX ONE will look fantastic all generation despite what the Sony kids want to say!!

I think Ryse ranks up there, but the others... Not so much.

I don't know about Dead Rising 3 being impressive to graphic snobs, they demand 1080p/60fps, I think it looks fine. There's more to graphics than simply having high detailed models and outpt, I think the ability of the game to render as many zombies as it does at once is an achievement.

Only Rise looks decent, the rest look average

Utterly underwhelming, even the best of the bunch Ryse looks slightly better than Gears 3. TC has got to try some PS4 games like Infamous SS and KZ SF to get a clue about being impressive looking.

All 1080p mind you.

Well then if you're gaming on a large 1080p set tell me if they don't look much sharper than Ryse. Again I'm sure both consoles will improve big time but right now no Xbone game impress me nearly as much as KZ and Infamous do.

@gpuking: I game on a 55" 1080P TV......KZ did not wow me, it has it's moments. I honestly feel Ryse and Infamous are the 2 best looking games out on consoles.
