Will Microsoft finally have a good E3 this year?

Welp, looks like no.

Well... unfortunately no. I do have to admit I am bias against but even with all the biasness aside man, this was one boring show. Unfortunate for xbox but hope the casual users enjoyed it.

Terrible showing.

Really solid showing for me. Saw a lot of stuff that I liked and am looking forward playing. No big bombshells but that’s ok. Was very happy with what I saw.

Microsoft's worst E3 since 2013 for me.

- No update on backwards compatibility
- minimal Japanese support after a few years of it improving
- Mediocre reveals (sorry but Bethesda are terrible imo)
- Uninteresting timed deals

Really disappointed with this one, this was Ubisoft bad for me.

Advantage point to Nintendo and Playstation

Awesome display and all those games for free on game pass day one.

Lol, what a surprise to see the usual suspects here straight after the show...

Anyway that was a very solid showing. Halo is looking good, Forza 5 will be awesome as usual, Starfield looks interesting (Xbox exclusive), RedFall (exclusive), Psychonauts 2, Flight Sim to console, Outer Worlds 2, Plague Tale Requiem, Stalker 2... to name a few. And this didn't show any of the big titles we already know about, like Hellblade 2, Prefect Dark and Fable.

The variety of games in the Xbox family is amazing and all coming to Gamepass. Awesome!!

My only disappointment is no Wolfenstein 3 announcement. Surely that's coming soon because 2 came out in 2017!

Flight Sim and Plague Tale look great, those were my highlights.

@hrt_rulz01: Agreed. I really liked what I saw on Halo: Infinite as well. Very hyped to start playing in when it comes out.

It was a fantastic showing. You fanboys are sad... tons of games announced coming this year, tons of games coming to game pass, no Playstation star field...

You have seen no gameplay footage of this game (Starfield). What is there to be excited about?

Just got back in from house work. What did I miss? GS doesn't seem to be doing any concise "recap of all the news from ___ show" articles this year, and is instead creating just a hot mess of one article per tidbit

5/10 for me. I wanted gameplay footage from Starfield, that Arkane game and Contraband. I got none.

Halo is Halo and looks meh.

Forza is always good.

Rest I don't really care/remember/multiplats.

Out of curiosity, tech, art, or design?

Well, there are a lot of games coming to Gamepass over the next year, the following year and the year after that. Starfield was revealed but it was pretty meaningless. Two new IPs, Contraband from Avalanche and Redfall from Arkane. Neither showed gameplay, just CG. New Forza 5 in Mexico and it looks stunning. Microsoft Flight Simulator is releasing next month. Psychonauts 2 is also releasing next month. Yakuza like a Dragon is out today. Halo Infinite multiplayer was shown and it looks great. The single player was just a cutscene so not much was revealed in that regards. That is what I can recall.

Starfield has an 11/11/22 release date. No gameplay.

Halo Infinite has a vague holiday release date. No SP gameplay was shown.

Forza Horizon 5 releases November 9th. Set in Mexico.

A co-op vampire game from Arkane called Redfall was their closer. Releases next year.

That's basically everything of note. Everything else was 3rd party games we've already seen and random forgettable looking indie games.

I genuinely think they are HURTING readership/revenue by spamming articles like this. Forza in Mexico sounds interesting - there's a lot of diverse scenery there, although I wonder how reminiscent of Australia it will feel with what I assume will be a beaches to desert to jungle thing. I'll have to chase down the trailer

Xantu, you are better off rewatching the show on YouTube which will be easier to skim through all the BS but other than that, nothing groundbreaking news but Forza Horizon 5 was the surprised for me, and launching this November 2021. Gonna buy it on Steam no doubt.

There was plenty of on game footage shown. So much content, they didn't even have to spend a ton of time on Halo.

Far cry 6 timed exclusivity

All I wanted was a Forza this year and that's what I got. 4K trailer looks stunning.

I'm glad they didn't announce another acquisition, I don't want SEGA going exclusive again.
