Got mine pre-ordered. My body is ready!

I have no interest in souls games. Tried 2 of them...not for me. Just don't like the combat.

IMAGINE skipping this guaranteed masterpiece that absolutely everyone will be playing and talking about, while you'll be hyped for the next AssCreed entry or whatever other garbage that's coming out later this year. What is wrong with you?

Not me. I've never been into these action RPG games. I have tried with the genre via other games like the Witcher, Dark Souls etc. Even tho I can appreciate the quality and passion, they just arent for me so I will be sitting this one out.

Hold off. Got burnt by the port quality RE8, not pouring £49.99 into a fun game of Russian Roulette.

Gonna be playing the best version on PC. Ultrawide and 100+fps as well as probably really good mods like Dark Souls 3 had.

Depends if I finish or need a break from Dying Light 2 but getting it is in consideration. No rush, it'll be there when I am ready.

Day one for me. But most gamers won't get it, this is a niche title compared to the normal games out there.

TC is right Warhammer 3 coming out soon, I've been playing alot of 2 to get ready for it, day 1 gamepass.

Also just started playing Lost Ark and it's awesome. Plus I've been playing new pokemon on switch, endless back log.. I'll treat elden ring like I treated Dark souls 3, pick it up for $10 a year later, get half way through untill I'm bored as shit and realize even though I love the art style, I hate the games.

Dark Souls clones are niche? I thought they generally sold pretty well.

Me. I tried finishing the first Dark Souls twice but lost interest both times and gave up. Haven't bothered with the rest of the series. Elden Ring looks like more of the same but open world which in my eyes makes it more unappealing rather than exciting.

I think this is very similar to the midset of incel who feels insecure with himself, asking "Who is * NOT * going out with a girl, hmm?" to seek the approval of other incels.

Yeah I'm not bothered really, played the network test and it didn't do anything for me. The souls formula got stale and an open world doesn't seem like it would anything to it.

Japanese garbage games have to be really good for me to even consider playing them.

I'll be playing it. Not day one, day one doesn't happen for me with any games anymore. Pre-ordering videogames is a terrible idea which people love to get involved in to display just how stupid they are to everyone.

I rarely pay $60 for a game anymore. Don't know much about the game, either.

I wouldn't call Japanese games "garbage" but, yeah...I have yet to really find one I like.

I keep trying against my better judgement because I know they give people a lot of joy, but honestly I think I'm at the point where I stop trying because if I don't like Dark Souls, Bloodborne, DMC, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, Vanquish, Death Stranding, or Metal Gear Solid I don't think I'm going to like anything a Japanese developer can throw at me.

I think I have to get this game, now I only have to choose if it's going to be the PS5 or SX version.

Pretty sure I will play it. But I will, as always, let others play it first and tell me if it's good or not, then make my own decision before splurging.

Slightly worried that the game's dungeons aren't great. Making Dark Souls open world will probably make other aspects of the game worse, so I expect many dungeons to be small and uninteresting.

If you'll be doing multiplayer, the ps5 version. If its mainly the singleplayer, the x version.

Now, for reals, I honestly don't care. But it is a shame, From Soft makes incredible games. There's some great games that I don't care for too, they're just not for me. And some times is timing. A great friend of mine just recently gave their games another chance and it's completely obsessed about them now. I think he even likes them more than myself.

Is comparing a $70 indie title to a Mega Title from Fromsoft make you feel better or something? Including the likes of Starfield, nothing from Microsoft will touch the quality of Elden Ring.
