Frankly to me the answer is the PS3. The other platforms never had high expectations so they really couldn't disappoint me. The PS3 isn't half the system the PS1 or PS2 were to me enjoyment of gaming.

All of them were pretty disapointing in one way or another.

The 360 for it's hardware issues and slacking exclusives in it's later years

The PS3 for it's rough start, for really not doing much to differentiate itself from 360 and just not stacking up to the PS1 or 2 at all

And the wii for not really delivering a very innovative game experience. Throw the word around all you want but the motion controls rarely amounted to anything more than carrying out the same functions a button press could or being mini game fodder.

Bit Trip Runner is beyond awesome. The sort of sequel is releasing for 360 and PS3. Sooooooooo bought :)

Game is epic, people missed out. Fate is pretty good too despite not reaching Runners brilliance.

I'm actually playing it as I type this, and I've never personally had to deal with any lag (the game's frozen on me a few times, but that's when I leave my 360 on for a day or 2).

It's just that the PS3 version is nearly infamous for lag when you get to a certain point within the game, but the 360 version is an occasional thing that happens to some gamers due to Skyrim being a buggy game

Even according to lem statistics only a minority had those problems. And most PS3 Skyrim players here had zero problems.

PS3 because it has a chip inside that turns people into morons.

Yup, this new style blows big ones but the bit trip gameplay was what was addictive and it looks intact :)

Definitley the Wii was the biggest dissapointment. The graphics are just so sucky, and 99% of the games are showelware. The gimmicky motion controls are terrible as well. There's a lot more little kids and old geasers than there is hardcore gamers. Thats the only reason Wii sold the most because they targeted the old geasers and little kids that aren't good at games. Its the ultimate casual and non gamer console for the inferior gamers.

They all did good in their own way. I'd call it even with the 360 and Wii but I still think they are both fantastic systems.

I've had all 3 consoles and for me the 360 was the worst. It was VERY loud and then I got a RRoD. I never bothered replacing that POS with another, got a PS3 instead and like it a lot better, thanks to Demons Souls and its quiet design.

The Wii also totally sucks but at least I got to DL classic NES and Super NES games, and it was BC so I got to play my GC RE games and Eternal Darkness on it. The Wii itself never had a single exclusive that was worth my monry but RE4 Wii was the best version of that game by far.

PC is the best gaming platform by such I wide margain its not even worth discussing. Especially if you have a Dell U3011 and play games at 25x16...

Nintendo was a terrible platform holder before the Wii. You can't expect their console to be great just because they're a good game dev. That's like expecting a good painter to be a good progammer.

The PS3. It was my favorite console this gen, but was still the biggest disappointment.

From a financial standpoint, easily the PS3.

From a game performance standpoint, easily the PS3.

From a longevity of the system standpoint, the Wii.

Although I was mostly dissapointed in the Wii.

Anywho, it's pretty close for me between Wii and 360.

PS3 is the biggest disappointment.

"Power of da cell" = broken games, 20 minute installs, 15 fps and exclusives nobody cares about.

Wii was supposed to be the weakest of all 3, and directed to the casual market - met the hype

360 - was supposed to be more successful than the first Xbox and to have nice graphics, but still weaker than PS3. Not only surpassed its predecessor, it also ended up being as good as PS2 in terms of library and as good as PS3 in graphics. - Surpassed the hype

PS3 - Was supposed be the most successful console ever (an easy job after PS1 and 2), to have the best library, graphics, sales, support, etc. Ended up with less games and support than 360, and the same graphic quality (worse actually, if you consider most games this gen are multiplats). - Disappointment

It was by far one of the worst consoles I've ever owned.

Nintendo never disappoint with Mario/Zelda, that is expected but it is the multiplat-game support they fail hard at because they use old/weak hardware.

I didn't feel first xbox was that great, ps2 dominated that generation it wasn't even a competition. 360 had been next "ps2" for this gen if it wasnt for the hardware trouble.

Has to be the Ps3 for me, from how great the Ps2 was last gen it has deffinitley dissapointed the most this gen.

I voted for Xbox, but for me it's a tie between the Xbox and the Playstation.

Out of the 3, Sony was the only one to lose market share and fall down in position :lol: Definitely the biggest disappointment, from first place straight to last place :lol:
