The one not on the vita. I like that one.
I also like that one where cows and lems cry because it isn't on their system.
Nintendo games innovate more within their particular genres with every iteration than most these days can do over 3-5 iterations.
Depends on what you count as innovative.
Pretty much every game they make offers something new and creative. Far more than most big developers in this industry. They have an indie-esque quality about them in that way.
Wii sports was pretty innovative, I can't recall of anything that was like that. After that I can't think of anything new that made that was innovative.

Why does a game have to be innovative to be fun?
Whatever was the last game that they released.
Captain Toad?
I'm going to have to go with Captain Toad. It goes beyond puzzles into other genres. It does what it is supposed to do and so much more. It pushes your timing, reflexes, thinking process, spatial reasoning etc. All while being technically flawless and starring the baddest badass in the history of badassery. Its really one hell of a game.
I love how the TC didn't even knock Nintendo or anything, but people still damage controlled or downplayed the innovation term. "No it's about quality" "innovation doesn't mean anything in gaming" "depends what innovation really means" "well innovation doesn't make a game fun" ...instead of you know asking the question the tc asked.

Super Mario Galaxy doesn't really do anything new , but is a great and polished platformer. I'd say Skyward Sword was more innovative for it's control scheme, and Nintendo Land for it's asymmetric gameplay. Still, Galaxy was probably the most fun out of all of those.
Oh they'll tell you Nintendo's funding and that magic bottle of "nintendo polish" is what really helped that game be unique in the first place.
Reminds me of some of the comments I read regarding Bayonetta 2. Same nonsense.
Poor Kamiya actually doing legit stuff with the gamepad, while Nintendo dropped it after Nintendoland.

Peoples reactions have far more to do with the user, his system preference, and his history as a poster on SW than the fact that he used the word innovative. So much for "Beacon of truth"
Damn, I really don't know. Super Mario Galaxy is the first thing that comes to mind, but I don't know if innovative is the right word. More like it's extremely creative with its use of tried and true formulas.

Yo drives me insane, Nintendo helped make Bayonetta 2 gre....bitch **** you, Platinum would have made it great regardless. All Nintendo did was pay the bills. Shit is only more nauseating when people want Platinum scooped up, and shackled to fucking Nintendo. **** that, we need the ultimate mercenary developer to stay the ultimate mercenary developer. Before this gen is over I bet they'll have made an exclusive for every platform out there. PS4, X1, WiiU, Vita, Ios, Steam, The ngage 2, all of it.

Which still would be irrelevant to the fact that those comments would be ducking his question.

I definitely agree with that. That's one studio I don't want tied to one of these companies. They do just fine now with a lot of people being interested in them. They put out a game, get paid, and go back to being hired again.
Having to actually buy an ngage 2 though... I got a WiiU, so I shouldn't be fussy about it.

Yeah, you already bought a shitty gaming device for Platinum goodness, let's not pretend you have standards now Lto

Fair dues, man. Fair dues.
have you played Inquisition?
Nah, not inclined to after playing the first one.
Is it good?

**** if I know, I dislike the first game, but figured eh, i also disliked Mass Effect 1, Uncharted 1, God of War 1, lots of 1s are shit, but the sequels...or like the third game in the series (Resistance 3) end up being good. Figured eh, dismissing it would be unwise given that it actually does look different from the previous 2 games.

Yup. Good point. I guess at some point I'll try it out, especially with everyone loving it, but I'm in no rush to dive into more weird Bioware writing.
I know this has nothing to do with the topic, but finalstar never ceases to amaze me...
"Besides its seems like SF5 wouldnt have happened if it wasnt for Sony the same thing that Nintendo did to Bayonetta 2."
...Street Fighter 5 and its 20 iterations are only going to happen because of Sony. Stupid quota has been maxed out for today. Time to get some sleep and hopefully recover some brain cells.
