Here's the changelog:

Dof values have been corrected for this version for a better gameplay experience (I hope you like it the way is now)

E3 2012 bloom tuned (I hope you like it now)

Headlight shadows now have been fixed

Changes to the rain system(density, ammount, quality, fluid settings, etc)

Now Rain is reacting to light properly

3 aiden principal cameras to choose(Closer, normal and far)

Changes to the lighting system(SSAO Quality, wind settings, etc)

Civilian settings changed from default to allow a more dense street.

Stuttering should be improved but not fully fixed (That's ubisoft part ^^)

Many more changes that you will see.

@zeta: Oh I'm so j. That a pc port (specifically built for nvidia cards) looks worse on consoles. I just think all this talk about WD visuals is silly when it looks far worse then a PS4 exclusive that came out 3 months ago.

found comparison pics. excessive bloom and headlight shadows are the only legitimate differences but the latter is apparently glitchy/broken. the rest is just DOF and sweetfx like color changes.

The water quality is also increased and the performance seems to be better. Less stuttering when driving fast

He's also working on improved cloud textures. Not everything has been enabled proper yet. Give it another week and it'll be much better

The shadows from headlights and chopper are a huge positive for me, love it

Hopefully the DOF is better than version 0.6 because it was blurry for anything on foot except whatever was near your crosshairs.

This is being posted everywhere, some people think it's the coders trying to hint that Ubi had them downgrade it. But it's definitely not fake, a number of people posted screen caps of it.

More placebo bullshit from the Watch_Dogs hating crowd.

Lights now cast dynamic shadows, which is nice, though they're regular non softened shadows, so they look like shit most of the time. This means you get massive sharp, fully defined shadows from things like trees. Not only that, they pop in at a rediculously close range.

Apparently there's improvements to the water vapour in the air or as they say "fog" which I'm guessing is only really seen during heavy rain, though I've yet to see it.

Then there's bloom. More bloom doesn't make it look better. The amount of bloom in the non-modified shader files is perfectly fine.

Which leaves us with Depth of Field. Forced on, it doesn't make the game look better. I like being able to see thing further than 50 metres away and 5 metres when I'm standing still.

@m3dude1: Ahh. So you have just affirmed the fact that the PS4 is worst than the PC graphic. As the PC is closer to the e3 graphics which you say they aren't. That just reiterates how much worst the ps4 edition is.

thx captain obvious? the pc version does look slightly better, bigger improvement if your using nvidia and have a fast enough gpu to enable txaa, and an additional bump if your gpu is fast enough to combine that with some TRSSAA(780ti territory). the other differences are pretty minor and youd be hard pressed to notice them without closely scrutinizing screenshots. this mod doesnt change the situation at all. the headlight shadows are glitchy and hard edged and come off as out of place as such. the extreme bloom just looks bad, as does the myopia simulating DOF. so rly, unless you have a 780 or better, you dont rly get a tangibly better experience than the ps4 version. this is of course ignoring the stutter that affects seemingly all pcs as notied by digital foundry. all amd owners are also SOL too.

There's fog both during heavy rain and sprinkles. Depth of Field can be disabled in the game menus.

Best rain and fog I've seen in any game so far aside maybe from the beginning of Crysis 3. All screenshots taken prior to the mod.

FIXED. Just needed to disable the depth of field :D The game looks gorgeous now 0_0 And it also fixed my stutter F*CK YEH

im the only one in this thread who posted legit comparison shots showing no difference other than artificial bloom and DOF. link to the articles showing the performance improvements or any type of legit comparison?

actually he specifically stated it didnt affect performance at all. you clearly arent very bright. the video shows just how terrible the stutter is.

@bigblunt537 basically. pc fanboys will latch onto anything and try to make it into some monumental improvement.
