Watch Dogs; 1st PC Gameplay vidz+Real Ultra Screenshots

I think it's the problem with leaked versions and it may be configured to PC settings already in retail version . Game looks amazing in 'REAL' Ultra settings .

That video was very disappointing.

You really have to find uncompressed vids to do this game justice. Having said that.. it's still was a "bait and switch" move by Ubi. My interest "re-peeked" after seeing the PS4 launch trailer, but I'm still not convince that it's worth $60.

Looks good. Gameplay most important aspect though. Hopefully not Assassins Creed non-game.

I have to agree with Wasdie, most screens and videos out there don't really do it justice. It looks great on PC.

Looks pretty nice sure it will look even better in motion maxed out at 60+fps and looks like it could really benefit from sweetfx.

It looks like a last-gen game even with all the bells and whistles turned on in Ultra settings. I also don't believe there was a downgrade. Yes, they showed the PC version at E3 while neglected Xbox One and PS4 versions since their kits were not even out at the time. There was no false advertising, when I compare E3 version of Watch Dogs and current version I see very little difference. If there is even one it's barely noticeable. Watch Dogs is what it is, if you like the genre and the setting then you will enjoy the game. If graphics was your only expectation then I'd reckon you'll be very disappointed.

so consensus is this game looks like crap pretty much no matter what during the day, but at night, it looks pretty good even on the current gen systems? (and yes i said current, time to stop calling them next gen for anyone that still might)

Looks like fun to me. I've played tech demos before, hopefully the game has good pacing and a decent story. Really don't care about graphics as the best graphics often have nothing to do with which game is fun or not.

Yeah those are downsampled from 4K so they should look better.

Get a custom BIOS on that 780!! I had mine clocked at 1.4Ghz on a crappy Arctic cooling hybrid and it was STUPID fast... BF4 on Ultra with 4xMSAA locked at 60fps at 2560x1440.

It looks good when you have the game in front of you.

C'mon, you gotta agree, especially considering the hardware it's running on. I remember driving towards the beach and being blown away by the water. ****. I just dived right in there. Went for a swim. Felt real.

I hate to be that guy but Infamous shits all over this game graphics wise. The only thing it has good going for it are the nice water and the higher resolution and 60fps on PC, other than that it looks horribly bland. Ubisoft definitely pulled a bait and switch on this game, looks nothing like the original reveal even on superior PC hardware.

The graphics of Watch Dogs are even more of a joke when you see the ridiculously high system requirements you need to get it to run smoothly on Ultra settings. It's an unoptimized POS like other Ubi games. I can't wait for some better devs to show the noobs at Ubi how to do a proper 8th gen open world game on PC.

That setting still doesn't bring a lot of graphical tech that are being used in other next-gen games. But texture work seems to be improved. I think Gamersyde will have the answer to all our questions regarding graphics.

@scottpsfan14: it's only incomparable because it looks better than infamous. If it didn't you'd love to compare the two. You sound real fanboyish right now. In trumps infamous in pretty much every way and it is only in alpha.
