Anyways, Uncharted 2 looks better? but I don't see a real point because both are beautiful games with a great single player.

AW looks good,but it was just somehow un polished,maybe to big bite for Remedy...UC2 is just polished as hell,from lip synce,animations,textures and post processing...everything is top notch,and AW is not there...

someone back there said RDR tops both games. i think RDR looks good. some parts of AW excel, like the flares etc. its not perfect. ME2 is very consistent though.sts106mat

Technically RDR probably is near UC2,especially considering its open world game.It tops AW for sure...better textures,animations,character details,lip sync,much less blurry or jagged...its feast for eyes really.

Yap,and view distance is the best i have seen on this gen consoles,especially considering how much detail you can see in long views.Its also FULL of da foliage,it has more foliage then Alan Wake :lol:

Just like any other open world game, RDR has good and not so good moments. But the good ones (when everything is happening at the same time with an impressibe sunset at background and still no frame rate drops), it´s really umbelievable ;)

small spaces, no forests or thick foliage, no next gen dyanmic volumetric lighting.Now theseekar has nothing to post about.

I voted Uncharted 2 because that game was visually stunning. I haven't played Alan Wake yet but i really want it (im to busy with Red Dead Redemption and ModNation Racers).

not every game can equate to a Michael Bay movie. that wasn't AW's direction.

What makes you think this will be the last thread on the subject?

Alan Wake is a fantastic game, and it's not bad looking by any stretch of the imagination. But it's not graphics king material.

And also, when did this foliage nonsense start?

I have a lot of love for both games.... but UC2 looks better, hands down. AW is still a nice looking game though.
