System Wars' FAVORITE 7TH GEN CONSOLE IS THE PS3

I primarily chose the Wii on the reason that it did not self-destruct like the PS3's and 360's did with their YLoD's and RRoD symptoms. But rather, the blame should be put on the manufacturing companies that used lead-free solder in the first place.

I agree, exactly the reason why I also picked the PS3 as my fav 7th gen console, it's a great system to compliment a gaming PC!

But if I needed a standalone console, the 360 would definitely be the way to go.

Nope, because I love the PC/360 game titles that aren't availible on the PS3. They may not be exclusive and don't count for much in the SW metagame, but my gaming habits revolve around real life, SW metagame and review scores bear zero influence on my purchases...

360 has a more expansive library than the PS3. Its only downside is the XBL fees, but since I very rarely play on-line, I'd simply stick with Silver.

Technically, the Wii sold the most and has the most users.
So they should be in the majority in system warriors in terms of numbers.

360 was probably my used console last gen.

BUT Ps3 had a lot more games I liked.

Makes sense,since it's the only system that appeals to real gamers ( although... the Wii is awesome as well ).

Since the first half of their releases i loved the 360 WAY more, and that was the console that got most of my playtime. But as for the second half the PS3 made up a lot of ground and with some superb exclusives i think it's safe to say it has pretty much caught up to the Xbox in terms of quality games.

In the end i'd call it a draw, they were both great fun and both deserved my hard earned cash. I say bring on the next gen consoles!! i can't wait for the epic battle between these two heavy weights. :D
