honestly, if MS wanted, they could keep it as a true exclusive. Release starfield only for xbox and then release it on PC 2 years later. The game is a complete MS exclusive and its their choice to do whatever they want. Of course they won't because MS has dedicated themselves to PC gaming.

Xbox games are available on Xbox, PC and any device that supports xCloud. That marketshare is larger than any of the consoles even when combined. With that said, it also doesn't mean they have that marketshare, just access to it.

MS' great genius innovation is that they spend more money than Disney spent acquiring Lucasfilm just so some games wont release on PS5 - and then still get beat by both of their competitors again.

I still feel Sony fanboys can have their way but it would require something happen first. Basically anything MS publishes on PS4/PS5, Sony gamers have to buy it to such a degree MS might give second consideration on whether they'll publish Starfield on PS5. The PS userbase would have to start dropping mad cash on things like Psychonauts 2 and Quake re-release and the upcoming new version of Skyrim and the big Sony timed exclusives like Ghostwire Tokyo and Deathloop... if they do that, maybe they can create a scenario where publishing Starfield on PS5 would be hard to say no to.

Xbox fannies would lose their marbles. 😂

Not really cause it took 7 years for it to catch up AND a new generation to start BEFORE it actually did. Sucks for cows because for 7 years they kept saying how it was going to pass it hence the "just wait" motto for cows.

And the PS was the most successful console for the past 2 gens prior. It had ALL the momentum, all the hype and sold in all 3 of the biggest regions while the 360 only sold in 2. The ONLY fanboys that had an issue were cows....meaning you.

You should do that since 99% of games are better on those 2 systems. Nearly every release is a multiplat this gen, especially major releases.

Guess you can take the PS5 out the closet every year or two when the next short movie game. Dust it well, it'll be going back in that closet as quickly as it came out.

@zaryia: I think you need to watch more digital foundry videos on utube because there about equal in which games runs better on each system. Most Sony games are 20 hours or longer. Besides I rather have the ps5 dual sence features than a few less dips in fps. They run basically the same. They both will have great games thus gen. And a Xbox fan still calling Sony games movie games is just pathetic. What happen if Xbox makes a killer story driven game? Your not going to buy it or gamepass it?

it still sold more after the fact it was 600 at launch and the 360 came out a year before the ps3. reason was that the ps3 had great games by then and xbox got rid of there first party. bungie left and many more. 360 started out great until that dumb ass forgot his name started letting there first party go. that is why phil spencer had to take over and started buying back there first party devs.

You're ignoring the fact that it was coming off the most successful console in history from the most popular manufacturer. It also took 7 years AND the launch of a new console for it to finally catch up. It also lost the most market share and the profits it had from the PS2. It sold in all 3 of the major regions while the 360 sold in 2. 360 was coming after a console that lasted 4 years and only sold 24M. This isn't something to brag about if I were you cows.

Again, claiming wins at the end of the race is silly no matter how you twist or spin.
