Are you sure this is a Sony mandate? Or is this just a retailer mandate?
It seems rather illegal to me to force someone to switch a Pre-Order they already placed weeks or months ago from one, cheaper thing and turn it into a more expensive bundle after the fact.
I don't see how Sony would try to screw people like that.
What if someone pre-ordered a PS4 and a game seperately... would they be forced to get PS4+game bundle AND the original game they pre-ordered?
How is that legal in the first place? It sounds like PR suicide.
I don't buy it. I think this is all made up by Lemmings. I want official proof from actual, named retailer representative stating that Sony is making them do this.

I dont think sony purposedly did it but they also arent guarding against. Looks like it Is happenening and the article suggests that. Im just reporting the news and you can see alot of sony fans are making excuses even if it was a mandate. Best bet is get a wiiu for time being and wait out the ps4. Formfactor and lack of info has me holding off. Sony is shady as heck tho but maybe not this shady
DUDE - if that's the case, then you need to change your thread title.
Because you are accusing Sony of FORCING retailers to upgrade customer's existing Pre-orders to more expensive bundles.
If the RETAILERS are doing this themselves, then it is NOT a mandate by Sony. It's a RIP OFF by the RETAILER, NOT SONY.
I knew this reeked of Lemming BS...
Sony isnt an angel and I didnt write the article. Sony is taking a loss on every console. Its possible they are up to shananagens This has been going on since nes, not changing my thread title.
