What info? If you preordered from GAME, you need a reward card, which automatically has at least one form of communication with you there, be it phone or email.

If they run out of standards then you don't get a day 1 console if you really didn't want a bundle. Though according to my friend at GAME, nearly no one has opted for just the console, so it's unlikely to come to that, as quotas are far from reached.

I dont have to validate thatm.  I never give them info and they always say just come in with the receipt and I forget about it.  Also sometimes the info could be wrong right?  Some prepay on the spot.   I guess they will be allocated.   Who knows.   Plus if sony shorts the standards they now have an excuse to bundle you.   Hope its not an issue really, but article suggests otherwise

If you're lucky, you have a 50% chance. Otherwise you're forced to either upgrade to a bundle or cancel the preorder/Wait for a later time.

Sucks for the people that don't want the camera, the game, or wanted to go full DD.

The DD is the thing that would drive me nuts.  Thats more of an issue on xbo as they are closer to the digital model and ready to go

If you give the wrong info that is kind of your own fault at that point.

Most of the bundles are without camera. But sure, still valid point for those who wanted to go DD (mad fools :P )

Both consoles only have a limited amount of hard drive space, and while both can be upgraded (in different ways), going full DD may still be a nightmare.

Also I guess in those instances, get the game you would want to rent, play it through and sell it back.

150/65 And will upgrade externally with xbo and wont need to with ps4 as I get a few exclusives.  Seems some have said this is in fact true at sonygaf and they are wildly trying to DC it.    Also I believe msft will offer a sell back digital model and family sharing.  All that is coming

No, it has everything to do with Sony, they are the ones allocating the ratio of standard consoles and bundles. Still not a massive problem like I have said earlier though.

You should know all about FORCED since you are an Xfan! MS has forced everything on you. They even tried no renting, used game fees, DRM, and spying on their consumers with mandatory Kinect until the government stopped them. 

And I preordered 2 regular PS4s. It's only stupid people who wait until there's only bundles available. Preorder early, wait until after Xmas, or buy a bundle.
