You know, I saw the earlier Australian rumor earlier but didn't want to make a thread on it, considering the source was weak, but now this is interesting. Mass Effect is a pretty big RPG and I'd love to play it.

Grat for PS3 only owners if true. PC is still where it's at for me.

I hope its true. One because i would love to see lemmings cry number 2 because when i had my 360 I LOVED MASS EFFECT LOVED IT. In fact if i had $360(lol 360) in my pocket right now i wold go to the nearest gamestop and buy a 360 and MASS EFFECT

What Bioware really needs is money. And more money can be obtained by releasing on the PS3 as well as the Xbox360 and PC.

You're just sounding silly. EA wants to maximize their profit, so porting it to the PS3 is a good idea to them.

I tried the first one not really impressed I guess it just wasn't for me. But great news for the people that like it.

Obviously EA owns the ME Ip, and EA can do whatever they want. Bioware is owned by EA, and Bioware is learning the PS3 hardware as we speak with DRAGON AGE, due next month from Bioware on PS3, PC, and 360.

I myself will buy it on 360, possibly PC, but I see this as happening. That's how 3rd Party games roll. I can see it as a timed exclusive, but if M$ doesn't pay up, EA will make their money no matter what.

well considering MS publishes the first game o nthe consoles and this one is tied to the first game i doubt it. it simply doesnt make sense from a gamers standpoint. why would you want to pick up in the middle of the series? especially one so tied to the predecessors.

no they couldnt unless MS agrees. MS is the publisher on the consoles for the first game.

Just went to EA website, and its back to 360/PC.

PS3 or not, I'll still get my hands on the game eventually.

EA also put Left 4 Dead 2 on the PS3 on their website. It is nothing more than a mistake.

I doubt that MS will give up thier best RPG when they have 1st party rights to it, after all, MS made Mass Effect possible (they funded the 1st)mayceV

MS doesnt own ME. they have publishing rights to the first game thats it.
