To be honest, pointing to Vader killing the Emperor to prove he's stronger than Yoda is kinda weak, especially when the Emperor was basically blindsided by Vader while he was busy using Force Lightning on Luke. Picking up a frail old man and throwing him off a bridge doesn't really take much skill. Hell, I can do that. Give me a old man, I'll prove it.:lol:

I know it suxs,but i guess they decided to give the 360 version Yoda because he's green,and uses a green light-saber? LOL sounds stupid i know but only reason i could think of,or maybe Sony paid them to put Vader on the ps3 version,because we all know Vader > Yoda.

I think i might buy both versions just because the ps3 version as Vader,and the 360 has yoda+points.

If vader would have been 100% good or 100% evil he would have been unstopable.

His doubt however was his weakness.

anakin skywalkerwas by far the most powerful jedi, he was also cocky, arrogant and had alot of issues (padme and his mother) which made him easy for palpaltine tomanipulate him and ultimately led to his downfall in episode 3. thats what made him such a great character, that his ultimate strength was also the cause of his ultimate weakness.

as darth vader he had the greatest knowledge of the dark side of the force next to the emperor , i dont think he really was a pawn of the emperor's, if you sawep3 its clearly obvious that he ended up just wanting power and to prove he was the best jedi in the galaxy. palpaltine simply gave him a nudge in the right direction really.

Now you mention it, maybe Lucas was a fan.

It used to be they sensed the force from miles away.

But in episode one they meet this kid with incredible potention and what do they do, whip out a measuring device, get some blood and OOOOOH He's SOOO powerfull.

What's with the win and lose debate? Considering this is SCIV, I say we all lose. Both versions get a tard looking character who wields a laser sword. Yoda looks like he's from sesame st and vader has on plastic armor, styrofoam leggings, and a giant control panel on his chest. I don't think they belong in any fighting game, let alone one set in medieval times.

Oh c'mon, it's easy to make anything sound bad when you reduce it to it's basic components in a cynical fashion. I could just reverse what you said and claim that PS3 got the raw deal because they lost out on getting the greatest jedi ever for a limbless, depressed, bald android. I'm not saying one is better than the other because I love most Star Wars characters (except for the obvious Jar Jar Binks) but your bias is evident.

Have you even seen Yoda fight in SW III: Revenge of the Sith? Yoda is the bomb. He jumps and flips all over the place when he fights with the light saber. I'd rather play as Yoda anyways. Just his size and moves along with make for interesting matches. I also what to her his backward comments. Should be pretty funny.

Darth Vader = black clothes (same color as PS3)

Yoda = green (like Xbox 360 game cases)

Darth vader (anikin)= is in all the movies (Ps3 is expected to be in the market for 10 years)

Yoda = dies early in the second(fourth) movie (microsoft already abandoning their console*)

*rumour: Microsoft is making a game for their next console.

Yoda didn't die until the 6th movie (Return of the Jedi). M$ isn't abandoning their XBox 360. It'll be around for at least 7 years I'm sure. If Microsoft is smart this time they will make their next system B/C.

Well there's the chance that they'll decide to go with the alternate plan and make Jar Jar Binks the exclusive character for the 360 version. I hear he has a kendo stick for a weapon plus a comedic fighting style.

Darth Vadar in Star Wars Episode 1, 2 & 3 was a whiny little brat. In Star Wars 4, 5 & 6 - he had his Death Star blown up twice, got his ass kicked by his own son and then burned. Yoda died of natural causes. And up until that point, he kicked major ass. He even stood his own ground against the Emperor. Vadar was the Emeror's little doggie.
