Vader has an iconic look. Most people in the world knows what Darth Vader looks like.

Besides, outside his emo life as Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader can technically fight most of the cast of Soul Calibur 4 solo by abusing the Force. Also, Lightsaber > Medieval armor/weapons.

What is there to spin? The light side of the force >>>>>> then the dark side. Yoda >>>> Vader. Vader died from turning to the light side, Yoda died of old age, after training Luke. Yoda was around far longer then Vader.

Actually, Yoda died in Return of the Jedi. The 6th movie in the series, and the 3rd movie in the "original" trilogy. :P
