Maybe. But you don't want your games to appeal to feinschmeckers only, you want it to appeal to the masses. That's where the huge profits are. Not saying I like this tendency, but it is true.

I have seen a few Resident Evil PC mods with characters dressed in overly sexy outfits and with bouncing boobs. Tomb Raider and Dead or Alive started the trend and haven't been for nothing. Sexy women sell video games. That is just how it is. We love dem nice pixel women, do we.

Procedurally generated worlds and janky ass animations is always low budget. Most certainly the highest budget game from Housemarque, but that isn't saying much since they're a small indie dev.

Damn this game keeps delivering. People ITT even saying that it's bad because of the procedurally generated world and middle-aged main character.

I encourage you all to try it! If you are giving the ascent a chance, surely this game will impress you, probably more so.

Duh, it has good gameplay. Can't sell that shit to bums, aka you frauds n gamers.

Also 70 bucks+I think it's PS5 only, while being a game thats like reasonably hard, without years of building up its player base like Dark Souls, in a genre (third person shooter) that doesn't typically revolve around shmup elements/twin stick shooter principles, because again that makes for fun gameplay, not brainless gameplay.
