@gifford38:
Go for it, only cost 6 bills, gonna be a blast, knock yourself out man.
lolol :P
that's just wrong and gross.
Well isn’t this nice..

my mate's has arrived even though its delivery status is still preparing to ship. unfortunately he's come down with a bad cold and is having to take the rest of the day off work :D
Yeah people are freaking, but that shit happens all the time. Carriers are too lazy to update status.
The entry price to VR remains too high for me for the amount of use I would get out of it.
It sounds great, but I'm still not a fan of the limited FOV.
Mine is out for delivery. I bought that Pulse headset too only because of how well it coordinates atheistically with the headset.
But what am I gonna play? I might do the media player thing, and pretend I’m watching a movie in a theater, even though I have an actual home theater…
@SolidGame_basic: Did you get yours yet?
Out for delivery. Sucks that they gave me an end of day estimate lol. I don't want to leave the house (have to sign for it)!

Ah, that sucks. My friend got his. Playing GT7 right now. It is seriously impressive.
Just got mine about 50 minutes ago was in the middle of doing some things about to start set up and have lunch.
The IPD slider is going to give some people serious trouble. Once you get it, though, it's great. I feel like people are going to be having user error galore, lol.
w00t Capcom announced what we all expected but now it's official: RE4 Remastered fully playable in PSVR2
Well, shit. That settles it. Getting a PSVR 2.
really looking forward to seeing how this compares to my Index. Got a little more business to attend to before it's gaming time.

That's the kind of stuff I want to keep seeing. Free updates on games out and coming out.
GT7 is going to get some serious playtime with this headset.
Alex and I sat down and made this crazy video. Watch in awe as I bumble around for an hour. https://t.co/P5T3zwzCgn

Trust me don't waste your money.
Like PSVR1 and ever PC VR attempt you will get this:
Don't bother.
@Grey_Eyed_Elf: horrible advice. VR is as close to being inside a game as you can get. Game preference is subjective. I bought my psvr1 at launch and I've never run out of games to play. Now I'm about to upgrade to PSVR2 with even better games
So first day over with having this and it being my first VR headset. So I figured I would give my short thoughts on what I played so far still got like 6 more games I have but have not played yet. I would say the one Negative is the controllers seems to only last about 3 hours and than you got to charge again. Any way this is what I played in order on day 1.
1. Call of the mountain. Played for about 50 minutes looks really good I would say not has good has forbidden west but maybe part of that is the fact with flat games I am not just a few inches away from what I am looking at lol. Seeing the big machines is really cool. Parts of it really do feel like a jurassic park ride at universal studios or something.
2. Kayka vr just wow it looks amazing. Going to the Alaska place at night and seeing the northern lights really did look and feel like I was there almost wanted to cry it looked so beautiful and real. I only played about 22 minutes or so was starting to feel a little sick. I guess because you feel like you are moving but you are not so it throws your mind off or something not sure but sure I can build up to it.
3. Synth riders a lot of fun spent like a hour and 45 minutes playing it only thing is like half the songs I don't care for lol. I started to improve and was able to do pretty well on normal but when I tried hard I got like destroyed lol. One disappointment is that when it was announced for psvr2 they made it sound like you could buy the Lindsey striling music pack for free for the first month but its not you get one of her songs for me basically false advertisement.
4. NFL pro demo very short demo you basically take snaps and pass the ball it is cool that you do get that feeling of the pass rush coming for you.
I think first thing tommorw I will play Star Wars but for now bed has its 1:30
Impressions so far:
Have some more games to play today. Want to check out RE Village, Rez Infinite, and more.
Trust me don't waste your money.

Just started RE Village training session. You actually have to reload your gun as if it was real lol.
@SolidGame_basic: "Just started RE Village training session. You actually have to reload your gun as if it was real lol"
Awww, I remember my first beer as well.
Every VR shooter is like that. You'd lose your mind playing a tactical shooter like Onward, Contractors or Pavlov.
RE: Village VR is your basic run of the mill VR port. It wasnt built for VR.
Play a VR game with actual physics where everything can be interacted with (Boneworks, HL:Alyx). Now that's an immersive experience.
PS: If Among US VR is on PSVR2, I recommend it along with Beat Saber of course.
@Grey_Eyed_Elf: horrible advice. VR is as close to being inside a game as you can get. Game preference is subjective. I bought my psvr1 at launch and I've never run out of games to play. Now I'm about to upgrade to PSVR2 with even better games
You are confusing the tech with gaming... The tech is awesome, the games objectively absolute garbage jank.
I have had a Dev Oculus VR and then a Rift S... Been VR gaming for almost a decade.
Honestly aside from Half Life Alyx everything is just either cheap MOD to a game not made for VR or just janky 6-7/10 games not worth $60 let alone the price of a entire VR headset.
Horrible advice would be telling someone to get VR with only 10% of the developers in the industry actually making games for it and out of those 10% you are only going to get PORTs not games made for VR, the actual VR games are spin off games made with the B team of that developer for little money and effort, and it shows.
Its why Half Life Alyx stands out, it clearly was made by a A team from a developer and they put as much money into and time to make the best game for the platform.
What games made for VR on the PSVR came out in since 2016 that is a system seller or a game where the developer put effort into like they would a AAA game?... Doesn't exist.
Again I love VR... But its a dead platform in terms of getting games that are pushing gaming in any way. Literally its just Half Life Alyx and that isn't even on the PSVR platform.
I too was sold a lie, its okay to admit it.

I mean, dude, if it disappoints you, just walk away, right? Other people are having fun with it. No biggie.
shuts done vr only studios....
Trust me don't waste your money.

@Grey_Eyed_Elf: Its a catch 22. Game quality and support won’t get better until there’s an install base and consistent return on investment for devs. But that won’t happen without the software…
@Grey_Eyed_Elf: why the focus on AAA? Games like Saints and Sinners, Astro Bot, Iron Man, Blood and Truth, Far point, Rush of Blood, Static, and Song in the Smoke are all great games made for VR.
And why do ports not count? It sounds like RE Village and GT7 are awesome in VR. Why not play the best version of a AAA game?
@Grey_Eyed_Elf: Trust me don't waste your money.
Like PSVR1 and ever PC VR attempt you will get this:
Stellar hardware reviews on launch
AA game on launch
Promise of a AAA game that never releases
1-3 more AA games in 5 years
Dust
Don't bother.
Lmao you sure your not talking about xbox?
@OmegaBlueUp: And why do ports not count? It sounds like RE Village and GT7 are awesome in VR. Why not play the best version of a AAA game?
Yup played res8 last night. Ups the scary factor 100 percent. Glad I saved the game for vr even though I bought the game a year ago.
