PSP 3000 Slim with LBP game($149) or Nintendo 3DS without a game ($249)

Nintendo fail...

i went to the sony shop they were selling the psp 300 slim the newest psp with lil big planet for 149

i just saw 3ds outrageous price tag of 250 dollars no games included ur just using the thing as a paper weight without a 50 dollar game so its really like 300 dollar product as much a full blown console

Not to mention that the 3DS is a Nintendo product so you have to add $50 to its price. Then add another $400 for the future revision, and +$200 for good measure.

Basically it's going to be a $900 handheld.

theres no point in gettin a DS cuz the power of the psp is still quite as strong the 3ds's so it shouldn't cost anymore to make

Actually no the 3ds is actually more powerfull than the psp. Your also forgetting the psp has an awful library of games when compared the original ds. power doesnt really mean anything if the games are bad.

no...it plays DS games as well as gameboy/color games (from virtual console) so the 3DS's library is already bigger

3DS has better tech than the PSP....MGS3 is a fine example...looks WAAAY better than MGS PW

Well... just kinda agree. To want this-gen-console like graphics is stupid, but I do expect some good power from a new system. Would you buy a new system with a original GB screen just because the library looks interessting and the battary life is good? I wouldn't and that's probably why I was pretty happy with my GameGear back then that actually had colors, and most agreed that it's better to have colors :S

wow look at all these fanboys lol. If tc wants a psp then he should get it. 150 is a good deal for a psp 3000 along with lbp. It may not have a huge library of games but many of them are good.
