Shame, only game time i get on a weekend really :(
Sony DRM in full effect and full swing for offline games.
Cows bent over again and still ask for more.
LMMFAO
glad those mofos are getting hacked, I hope that forces them to improve their shit. I'm still pissed at my PSN account getting hacked 3 times on the same week and then Sony refusing to help me out to recover it unless I had the serial number of the PS3 I first created the account. A launch PS3 that got YLOD many years ago.
I'm a poor guy and because of Sony's shitty security they made me lose hundreds of dollars in digital games. Some DLC and lots of PS1 and PS2 classics I had in there... This is one reason why I haven't bought a PS4. Sony holding the online portion of games to ransom like M$ does with XBL really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Paying for a shitty unsecure service that doesn't even offer dedicated servers for most games.

Don't know who is responsible. The facts that they are down again is pretty sad. Hopefully it's not for 28 days like the last time they were hacked.
Dont tell me Sony still using 8-bit processors from 1972 and floppy disk for their servers. Crazy shit if true.

Who are you and what have you done with Gue...?
Again? This is worse than EUW.
Sony needs to spend some money on security, don't want another credit card theft fiasco.
They already did that. Also people seem to forget that Sony isn't the only gaming company to lose people's personal information to hackers. It's happened to countless others. Also this is apparently a DDOS attack, which has nothing to do with hacking of personal information. It's just a bunch of attention seekers spamming the servers so much that they go unstable which has also happened to many other online based services.
No SONY isn't the only gaming company thats been hacked before but it is considered one of the greatest Data thefts in history dude, MS has even lost personal details but nowhere near the scale of the PSN hack.
it's all very well saying 'every company loses personal details' but lets look at the Scale, Very Few companys lose Personal details on the Scale that SONY did, Granted the details where not used, SONY where lucky it was Anon that hacked them, But they still lost a Huge amount of data and not just once but twice.
Although the credit card details where encrypted SONY admitted that most of there Users personal details where not and the first Hack they lost 77 million users details and in the second hack they lost 93,000 personal details.
Again? This is worse than EUW.

I don't know what other gaming company you mean since I only play on PC/PS so I only know that it happened to me on PS3 a few years ago and I'd prefer if that wouldn't happen again.
PC.. Hope you're not using Steam. http://store.steampowered.com/news/6761/ It happened.
Also, he must have not played Diablo 3. Add Blizzard to the list (or at least's whoever Blizzard rents server space from).
Sony taking their sorry ass time giving us a response as to what the hell is going on.. They did that with the last hacking fiasco, kept us all in the dark for what was it? It's not really a good sign.
they are getting hit with a ddos.. durp, what more do you wanna know
One this isn't a hack its DDOSing.
Two, Sony isn't the only one hit. Blizzard, League of Legends, Runescape, Guild Wars and Sony are getting slammed by this attack for the past few days.
Why does this group attack video game players?
LOL try DDOSing this server then

They did already, and called it maintenance.
Rage !
You can only play your online bought games offline with your primary PSN account, if you didn´t check the primary option when you first turned on the PS4 you are screwed and can only play your games for 20 minutes off line before drm kicks in .You can still change the account to primary but need to be online and signed in to PSN for that which now doesn´t work .
LOL at that Sony DRM !

I haven't seen any real confirmation of that yet and I wanna know when it's coming back up... I was getting so into Diablo 3 damnit.
John Smedley confirmed it on twitter. it will probally take a few hours to get back to normal
This affects me none, since I only buy physical copies of games and don't pay for DLC, PS plus, or game online in any way shape or form! Happy gaming folks. :)
Lulz at calling this a hack. Anything computer related must seem like magic to you.
Anyway, I just wanted to download the 4th episode of The Walking Dead Season 2 so yeah, it's slightly annoying.

I'm on psn right now. I can see my friends online, I can use Live from PlayStation, but when I try to play Balttlefield 4 or Ghosts online it says that the EA servers are down (Battlefield 4), that I need PlayStation Plus to play online (Call of Duty Ghosts) or that a connection to the server couldn't be established (Music Unlimited).
I just tried Blacklight Retribution and that's working fine, so it's not a psn server problem. Blame the earthquake in California, not hackers.
