When you say in a generation do you mean like the pokemon generation?  I assume so.  So you are saying something like Pokemon Z will be have more end game content?  why?  

Hmm I still don't get what attracts people to pokemon combat. I find it rather boring the way that it's turn based and you only have a few things to pick from. I'd prefer a more action-y system where positioning matters or so. Or timing based. Also I'd go for X but I think the X legendary (?) looks worse than the Y one.
