Silent Hill games were cool as well but everything else was either stuff we knew about or meh looking to me.

Dragon's Dogma 2 looks fucking incredible. I just can't get over about how smooth the animations are on everything i see on screen. For once an open world game without the shitty floaty ass animations.

This game is gonna plow through 2024 GOTY.

And while i agree that this was by far the best state of play we've ever gotten, they needed one small and one massive first party to be shown for this show to be legendary.

And Stellar Blade is such a coomer focused game. Almost in every single scene, she changed her clothes. Wtf. This is the message for coomers that you'll be able to purchase $20 armor sets through their cash shop. Please be excited.

Compared to other State of Plays that was really good. Compared to other shows as a whole that was pretty mid. They did show more games than I thought they would though.

Okay MEtal Gear, I mean Death Standing 2 looks freaking amazing. I feel sorry for lems right now

I mean, other shows are also longer or much longer. For the duration this was, it was very good no matter to what other shows you're comparing it to.

Death Stranding 2 did one thing to me, and that thing is remind me how far superior Sony's first party engines are. They're so damn far ahead.

Are you implying that the IP doesn't offer enough gameplay, or something? Cuz that's like saying that MGS is a movie. Tons of high quality cutscenes doesn't make the game a movie when the same game offers dozens of hours of gameplay.

MGS and DS2 aren’t equal when it comes to gameplay.

Different gameplay, yes, but that wasn't my point. These games offer a ton of gameplay, so you aren't only getting hours of cutscenes, but 20+ hours of gameplay as well. What's so negative about that? This is exactly how GoW2018 or Ragnarok is built.

Helldivers 2, FF7R, Rise of the Ronin and, Stellar Blade all within 90 days is absolutely wild.

FF7R rebirth is my most anticipated game of the year. I havent game on my PS5 for almost a year now time to undust it.

Got Helldivers 2 preordered on PC, still on the fence about Ronin and Stellar Blade.

Overall a solid 8/10 showing. would have loved it if we get updates on 1st party works but Stellar Blade, Ronin and DS2 made it a fun showcase.

I'm surprised at how deep the game seems to be. I didn't expect it to have side quests with story consequences. They might not be too relevant to the story overall but it's nice that they're there.

Yeah, GoT was a great game. Ronin just seems like a kinda shit early AC clone. Hope i'm wrong, but everything from graphics and gameplay doesn't look good.

I'll be impressed if Kojima can manage to make a worthy successor to Metal Gear, on top of having such a full plate. This would make at least three known games he's juggling. I dunno though, despite his talent, can he really be juggling so much and give each the proper attention each deserves?

Sounds like Sony's lending a hand with the new game beyond the Decima engine.

One thing Ronin have the advantage is the devs knows how to make fun combat. It needs to carry the game hard.

Read articles referrencing OD as a smaller scale game and seems DS2 devs cycle is nearing end looking at how polished the trailer looks.

Stellar Blade looks promising, may pick that up.. Will keep my eye on Death Stranding 2 if i ever get around to finishing the original..
