PETA in uproar of Whaling in AC Black Flag

So with details emerging about the new AC game, Black Flag, PETA have decided that it's glorification of Whaling is a terrible thing. Forget about the whole idea of the game being set in the past and historically accurate for that time period, nope PETA still express their disgust over it.

"Whaling -- that is, shooting whales with harpoons and leaving them to struggle for an hour or more before they die or are hacked apart while they are still alive -- may seem like something out of the history books, but this bloody industry still goes on today in the face of international condemnation, and its disgraceful for any game to glorify it, the organisation said in a statement. PETA encourages video game companies to create games that celebrate animals -- not games that promote hurting and killing them."

Even if it does who cares? Dishornoed universe does much worse to whales, like cutting them alive for some oil.

Solution:
Have PETA women with their bodypaint replace the animals in games.
Gamers happy, PETA happy.

I can understand what they are trying to say, however if Assassins Creed removes the whaling, it prob would not change a thing about the real Whalers in real life whom most are probably not gamers

If the single player sucked and the multiplayer had bigger and better potential than what it was then perhaps.
