PETA in uproar of Whaling in AC Black Flag

But PETA is a joke. I'm all for animals, but they are extremists.

So with details emerging about the new AC game, Black Flag, PETA have decided that it's glorification of Whaling is a terrible thing. Forget about the whole idea of the game being set in the past and historically accurate for that time period, nope PETA still express their disgust over it.

Piracy was rather bad as well but they don't seem to care too much about that part of history. All I know is that this game looks great, and if PETA doesn't like it then it's probably gonna be amazing.

These dudes really need to learn how to pick their battles. They're going after a game which accurately portrays a part of history, yet they ignore plenty of games where you can actively slaughter animals for no resources or reason in general.

Even if it does who cares? Dishornoed universe does much worse to whales, like cutting them alive for some oil.

ya it's quite funny. A picture with a whale in the SEA and they claimn the game is hunting whales 

I barely even kill a spider in my own home. I pick it up and toss it outside BUT i run around in skyrim with magic arrows killing ever deer on my horse all day long !

I cant speak for everyone else, but it's more about how they go about their ideals rather than the ideals themselves.

My girlfriend is actually Vegetarian (used to be Vegetarian myself) ...yet, we both fvcking hate everything about PETA.

So, it's not like every person who's Anti-PETA are the "stereotypical lowbrow fat ass slobs shoving big macs into their mouth-breather faces everyday"
