PC is just battering consoles into dust

So a thread titled "PC battering consoles" isn't trolling but me pointing out what games sell best on steam is trolling?

Any multiplat game I play on my PC will always perform better than its console counterpart. That is why PC gaming is awesome.

This thread is system wars fanboy rhetoric that is present on all sides. Do you also point out the multiplats are the best selling games on consoles when they talk about having the best exclusives?

And how multiplats sell consoles? Just look at what Sony is doing with Destiny.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Civ Beyond Earth is the biggest pc exclusive of the year and the min req is an 8 year old pc. Try running Dead Rising 3 on Beyond Earth's min req pc:

The new consoles are causing the average min req on pc games to jump dramatically. How will this not result in an increase of pc hardware sales?

Please provide your sources. Because I'm pretty sure each of those was 1-2 million each at last report. While I believe Activision has announced that COD Ghosts is the number 1 title on next gen consoles

I don't think there is one game on the TC's list that I would even want to play for free. I have a decent gaming rig, but it won't be used for any of those games. The only game I can see myself getting for pc this year is Project Cars

Ok, so where is your data to back up this statement? Showing me a list of system specs that haven't exactly improved alot in the last few years. I bought a used GTX460 back in 2010!

How am I derailing by pointing out that most pc gamers don't care about those exclusives the op listed? The exclusives were obviously the op's main theme. Multiplats are only superior if the gamer has a good enough pc.

PC has exclusive lists that dwarf consoles, and the best version of most games (multiplats). Win Win. No one mentioned sales. Although PC has more software sales than all consoles combined.

Most of the op's opening post was about exclusives. Exclusives which for the most part are ignored by most pc gamers.

PC has more revenue when you factor in countried where consoles are banned, mmo's and browser gaming which don't exist on consoles.

Traditional game sales on pc are dwarfed by consoles.

No, they don't. What's available on pc is not available on consoles. Pc fanboys well rave about better versions of console designed games. CONSOLE games. Pc fanboys will beg and petition for console exclusive games. Most of the OP's post was about the reasons he felts that PCs are "battering" consoles.

He mentions exclusives, AND multiplats, in addition to acknowledging that some of the currently "exclusive" titles may eventually make their way to consoles.

Every time that someone proves you wrong, or calls you out for your ridiculous comparisons. (i.e. "These cherry picked stats show that 360 Skyrim gets better framerates @720p then on a PC using a GPU that barely exceeds the devs' minimum requirements @1080p and with more eye candy. Facts are also not neutral if they offend my sensibilities. Trollolol, my trolling is a art." )

Only the consolites that know a bit about the tech that composes their platform of choice, can acknowledge that the PC is the objectively superior platform, and not resort to your tactics.
