I'll pick the one who's been here well over 25 years and still produces some of the best games in his own genre to this day. Mario.
Pac-man's been hit or miss all his life
Sonic hit a real bad slump when the Dreamcast hit (Sonic Adventures was a mess). Sonic Rush and Generations were a few gems along the way, but for the most part, he's been having trouble.
I say Mario, people who didn't game used to refer to everything as a Nintendo years back, kind of how people different region of the US call Pepsi "Coke".
All three are very iconic and are recognized by most people.... even those who do not play games. However the biggest of the three is Mario.

Makes me feel like I've been on Gamespot for too long.
Pacman has never been relevant since Namco stopped making games styled like Pacman 2.
I am ot sure you have actually played Pac-man 2 from this statement.
The correct answer to this thread is Q*bert, otherwise from those 3 there;s not too much of an advantage in either (at this point) for there to be a correct choice.
I guess maybe I could give the edge to, but only because it had some great games back to back.

This game, was amazing. I'm sorry if you couldn't play it.

Is what you said. Your last few words make no sense, as Pac-man was only styled like that once. Which is why i questioned if you played it, because it's a point and click(Shoot) auto-adventure game.

the point was that they should have made more.
