Probably the most wasted game ever a 10/10 only playable on a console no1 give a shit about. I didn't even know this existed! On my Switch please Nintendo!
@PCgameruk: I dunno if I would really consider it a special edition, all of the first few shipments had bayo 1 with it. They stopped doing that during later shipments though, they just did bayo 2. They should probably port them though, at least bayo 2 since the wii u was what it was
The GOTY if you ask me. But I wouldn't play it again on the switch. But for anyone who missed it on Wii U, sure.
The way I see it, port it over to PC or I will simply settle with emulation, there is no 3rd option.
Starfox Zero should be released as well. Altered but released. It's a great game.
I agree. I own Starfox Zero and enjoyed it. However, the controls and some missions would need to be overhauled to work for the Switch.
Yeah, great game. One of my favorites this gen, and really the main reason why I keep the WiiU around. I'd like to see it ported to any superior hardware, but of course I'd want it on PC above all else.
PC, then.
It still wouldn't run at 1080P/60FPS on the Switch.
Nintendo funded Bayonetta 2 so porting it outside of a non-Nintendo system requires Nintendo's permission.

Microsoft also funded Max and the Cursed Brotherhood. It also funded Cuphead. The first is coming to PS4 while the second is being considered for Mac and Linux. I'm not saying it'll happen but you never know, seing that Nintendo doesnt own the IP. SEGA does. There are plenty of funded games that are only exclusive for a certain amount of time.
And before you say that it isnt coming because Hideki Kamyia said so should I remember you Shinji Mikami said he would cut his head off if RE4 ever went to PS2... and we now how that ended up. Capcom and Nintendo also had exclusive contracts for REmake, RE0, Killers7 and Viwetiful Joe... they still ended up on other platforms (REmake and RE0 way later on but still ended up on current gen consoles) so... yeah, you never know what will happen with a 3rd party IP when you dont know the contract terms when it comes to its exclusivity
There is actual Nintendo code in this game, it's not going to make it to any non Nintendo hardware (as much as people want that to happen).
I agree, put it on Switch. Don't stop at this gam,e, put anything that was ever worth playing on the Wii U on Switch. Retcon the Wii U from existence.

I concur.
Still have it on the WiiU I don't need another port. How about we get a Bayonetta 3 or Vanquish 2 instead.
JustPlainLucas voted this as the best answer.
Well MS is nice enough to be giving Nintendo a Switch version of Minecraft, so Nintendo need to return the favour and give us Xbox owners a version of Bayo 2.
As much as I would like to play Bayo 2 i'm not buying a WiiU for one game :(
Nintendo, the company for re-buying games you already own.
That's right. Except for Sony. And Activision. And Capcom.

Except that the game has code FROM Nintendo. Hell, Satoru Iwata was even executive producer.

I might not even have bothered getting a Wii U if it weren't for this game, I'd gladly double dip on the Switch, hopefully it also includes the first game as well. Maybe they'll consider it later, I hear Sega is releasing both Vanquish and Bayonetta on XB1 and PS4 later this year. I hope it does well with current gen remasters, maybe then they'll consider a Bayonetta 2 version for the Switch.
It's too bad all you PC Beggars don't realize Bayonetta 2 will never come to PC.
I mean, I'm sure most of us realize that the chances of this game going to a non-Nintendo platform are 0.01%.
It would probably require Platinum/Sega paying their way out of whatever contract they have with Nintendo, stripping out the Nintendo themed assets, and then dealing with the cost of porting it over. For a game that doesn't sell big numbers, yeah probably not gonna happen.
Just a dream bro. Playing Bayo 2 with unwavering framerate, proper image quality, the controller of my choice, and not having to keep old hardware around to play it? Yes plz.

It depends on the contract if its a timed exclusive or a full on exclusive for Nintnendo. I would highly doubt SEGA would agree to keep it a full on exclusive when they could release it across multiple platforms. Nintnedo would of had to put up a huge amount of money and i don't see that happening, i feel its a timed exclusive.
I never played either Bayonetta so I'd buy on switch I a heartbeat.
Why not find a WiiU or a 360 and play it? If you're a fan of Devil My Cry or Ninja Gaiden you owe it to yourself to play Bayonetta. I played the shitty PS3 version back in the day and it was one of the best games from last gen. I have Bayonetta on the 360 PS3 and WiiU.

From what I understand, Sega canned the project originally and Nintendo swooped in to float the bill. Basically the game wouldn't have existed without Nintendo. So I doubt it's a timed exclusive. Plus the game is over 3 years old and on a dead console lol. Pretty sure if it were just timed we'd know by now.
Anyways, not saying it's impossible, just not holding my breath for it.

So? They can change engine and fit another code. Satora Iwata being executive producer is irrelevant. That has shit to do with exclusivity. An executive producer has more to do with manageament accounting, nothing else. Its not a producer. Nintendo doesnt own Bayonetta or Bayonetta 2, SEGA does. http://aminoapps.com/page/smash/4823666/who-actually-owns-bayonetta-2
edit: Can you provide a link about the code you claim of? I'm trying to find anything about that subject on google and I cant find shit. Only downloadable "codes".

Nintendo could you know be nice,...MS did release Minecraft for Switch & Sony looks to be releasing some indie titles for Switch..Nintendo could release Bayonetta 2... for MS/Sony/PC after porting it over to Switch. :P BUT like you though..I also hope for a PC release. I'd triple dip if it releases on PC. Not sure if Switch could maintain constant 60fps throughout. :P
@jdc6305: find a wiiu to play a single game after investing in their newest far more competent console? Nah. I'll play it when it comes back around.
The fact that games are becoming more and more deliniations of other games have made the wow factor go away after 35 years if gaming. I don't really get overly needy for a game anymore. I'll just wait for it to show up on switch which would be awesome.

The problem is it has Nintendo's fingerprints all over the thing.
If it ever did go multiplat, I think it would be entirely up to Nintendo if they were to sell off licensing rights. Not because of it being a timed-exclusive but because they just don't need it anymore.
They did do that before...when they sold Rare, along did they sell off the licensing rights to Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark and all that.
