until they can accurately see me moving at top speed, they're pointlessJandurinyeah that's the problem with motion controls is the lag, i haven't tried motion plus, but with the wii mote there is always a slight lag, from the remote to the pointer on screen, but you don't really notice it on most games, but on something like this when accuracy and speed is a must you need no lag.

Love that he's playing on a Sony tv... Just love it.

Is that a problem? Not like the entire company is in competition with one another, just the gaming division.

Yep, I have a Bravia myself, need to upgrade it though at some point.
The Natal looks very interesting. It could really work. But I am waiting for the price tag of it. If it over $100 it would be too much

Yeah if you buy a Sony Laptop, Windows comes with it. Outside of the gaming division Sony and MS worked together on afew stuff.

Please dont hype Natel it will not improve gaming it is only slowing down the evolution of games. It will be a cool interface but will not work for games as well as many hope.wooooodemotion controls to gaming are sorta what texting is to phones. a step in the wrong direction.

And you know this how??? Have you played Natal? NO. Natal is a step in the right direction imo. No controller other then your body.

i actully agree with this.
its not that i dont like motion controles or anything, but i totally see what you mean

No there's still some lag unfortunately but it doesn't hinder game play and it's far and few between.
I suspct with motion technology it will improve as with most technology.
Motion Technology will be pretty big on PC too! as Project Natal is being integrated into Windows 7.
It's been revealed that MS has been working on such a project for 20 years!
So I'm confidant they will continue to improve it for both the Console and Windows platform.
By the way Hitachi and several other manufacturers will be implementing this kind of motion control into TVs next year!!!!
Motion Technology is here to stay. Now all we need is the games!
I'm surprised people say it is accurate. I mean the .5 second delay, and weird movements of the avatar in the ricochet game or in burnout paradise the only videos we've seen are people running into walls.im honestly surprised that somepeople think natal might be good and will improve gaming

But yeah, I try not to be too opinionated on this crap so i'm not accuse of being a fanboy every 12 and a half seconds (That gets really annoying) But Natal is going to be an absolute piece of crap, just like eyetoy was. It won't work right no matter how much people try to pretend it does. And deep breaths.no thanks, i mean at least not for gaming i can see myself owning it so i can use it to navigate menus or while pausing or chapter searching a dvd or something
i own a 360, i have nothing against motion controls
i just don't get the hype for natal.. maybe when I see some traditional games using it if possible
but how can people compare it to the wii or even the sony wand? it's going down the same road as the original eyetoy (which I also own mind you)

oh Nhh18, I havn't seen you in a while. I already know your stance on Project Natal. so lets continue this discussion.
Project Natal is accurate and of course their is the occasional glitch with that infamous Avatar demnonstatration but since then the y have improved Project Natal's response time which is what you should be referring to with the delays.
Burnout Paradise? that depends on the user doesn't it. New players just jump in and start getting used to the controls and of course there would be an option to change it's settings.
one of many journalist who actually had hands on time and tried Project Natal
"My hands grasped around an imaginary wheel, I put my right foot forward and the car screeched away. Not actually holding anything in my hands the controls felt slightly unnatural, but amazingly lag was negligible (Microsoft claims a 66ms delay, which is the same as that introduced by a standard controller)and I was able to scream around Paradise City with no problems. Kudo even tried to make me crash by standing beside to me and pretending to drive - somehow Natal knew that it was my actions and not his that it had to monitor."
