That was quite the emotional cutscence. I actually thought that would be the end of one of the characters life. People who played the game know who I am talking about.
well, i think the best cut scenes ever are from mgs4, at the end of act 3 i was completely shocked with everything that had happened, and then the ending fight where snake fights with liquid, absolutely amazing and finally just the ending cutscene just leaves you so satisfied that it doesn't even seem possible that it's just a game

Yeh...me, cause I know what good direction is, unlike Kojima who throws in 40 unnecessary shots of each soldier cocking their weapon. It tried to hard to be epic. Cheese is a bad thing when the scene is suppose to be epic or taken seriously; I think I hit the nail on the head when i descried it as cheesy cliche garbage. "DIE SNAKE!"

You're right about cheese being in something that's supposed to be emotional. They just don't mix.
*SPOILERS!* The part where Jack (the main character) kills Andrew Ryan was such an awesome moment. That game was perfectly written. I don't know what other people are talking about. Andrew Ryan is the best protagonist of this generation.
I would say the World in Conflict ones, like the New York one like someone already posted.
[spoiler] Also the screne after the Cascade Falls mission, where Bannon and his men holds off the Russian so everyone could retreat and they could send the tactical nuke in to stop the Russian attack. And the last space battle in Mass Effect, watching the Normandy kill Sovereign was great, Also the battle was insane. Sovereign was taking fire from an entire Alliance fleet and it took a while for it to go down. [/spoiler]
