*will reserve jugdement till Final Fantasy Versus XIII comes out* The part in the trailer when Noctis rushes past the gunfire and puts his sword in between the guys arm while the guy is still shooting and thrusting the weapon forward shooting people using the guy as a shield *catches breath* was neat.

But im gonna go back a gen and say Xenogears when Id came crushing down to the Zeboim Ruins and said the best line "give it back" then you had to fight him. Great direction on that part.

So far, I guess its MGS4 when Snake was crawling through the tunnel and it did the double screen thing. Pure Awesome.

Halo 3 ending...the music is soooo effing perfect and epi. It makes me sad to watch this cutscene, cuz its basically like Master Chief's last journey we play (maybe) ...and its always sad to say goodbye.

Half Life 2 ending....There are so many epic points in this game (and the rest of the series) but this is the most epic CUTSCENE in the game

I've played MGS4, but I really don't find it THAT epic (like most are claiming). Granted the last cutscene is very good and watching Ocelot stand on those turrets with his fingers pointed pretending to shoot guns was very epic, but the rest all just seemed too overly-dramatic and cheesy. Still a great game though, so chill out cows I'm not making fun or anything. Just opinionizing (I know it's not a word, but I like using it).

The greatest cutscene ever. It's absolutely cheesy, ultimate fanservice, but damn is it epically beautiful. The perfect way to end the greatest saga of all-time.

To be honest, that scene really struck me as bloated also. The scene with the soldiers surrounding the boat was way longer than necessary, as was the sequence with people getting shot. It just got silly, especially with the slow motion and the strings and so forth.

Even in terms of epic, the microwave sequence felt much more powerful to me than the indulgence at the end of Act 3.
