Because the PS4 is a good gaming console & will have many good games on it. MS's X1 tried to be too many things other than gaming & wanted to implement many things that were a bad idea for consumers. Sony kept it simple & stuck to what really matters, gaming.

There is no mistake that cannot be repaired, only and untill when Microsoft seats down their employees and give them a hard historical module of the video game industry, only then would we see better vision come out of their gaming division.
