Sony is in last place. No way they sold 7 million Consoles in two months.

True story here: We(my family and I) got YLOD (Yellow Light of Death) on our PS3 had to trade it in for a non BC 1 but never had a problem with our Halo edition Xbox.

I never saw news coverage of YLOD, ever.

lol this is evident, because sony was number one. microsoft must be really petty to be in the business to just be number 2....which is really at this point debatable. 

They should worry less about Sony and more about how they are perceived by the world. They came across as a greedy money grabbing software company and now look much the same in two failed generations of console manufacturing.

If the whole purpose of MS entering the console race was to "beat Sony" or be first in sales, they have failed at every possible measure.

It was announced last month and their numbers will be for between Oct-Dec. There should have been PS2s shipped. In fact, there should be some PS2s shipped this quarter.fernandmondego_

That makes sense. All I know was that it was announced. I wasn't sure if they announced as they were doing it, or after they stopped shipments.
