Yes. Basically they function in a similar fashion to the divine beasts (progress-wise, minus the whole rotating mechanism) but they are properly themed and bosses are more unique vs Ganon's blights.
@lebanese_boy: Little birdy also said that there is a huge dangerous underworld to explore that is the size of the overworld, giving the game three layers.

Dang, 500 pages! Must be a lot to do in this game lol.
Knowing Gamespot's merits for a sequel to get a 10/10, TotK seems to have those ingredients. The only thing that can hold it back is if performance issues are still a thing. We shall wait and see.
This game really just keeps on surprising. In a way, wish I wasn't playing it early, soooo much cool shit to discuss lol. Feels like SMG2 with how often they're throwing out one cool new idea after the next. Game has already addressed all but one of my minor gripes with BotW. Then added a million new things I didn't even know I wanted. I was spending most of my time exploring and getting into random shit, which was already a great time. But I finally went ahead and tackled my first major region event. So good. Those who felt BotW wasn't "Zelda enough", think most will be more than pleased here.
Not all perfect of course, introduces new annoyances of its own. One in particular that I think everyone will agree is a bit clumsy. This was already showcased in the first gameplay demonstration. Not actually spoilers, but still, spoiler block. - Fusing items to arrows. It's great. It also sucks. Have to pull up the item list every single time. And that item list gets deep fast. There's a sort button, and there's also a sort category for "most used" which helps. I would prefer if on top of this on-the-fly option, they also allowed you to just mass craft arrow types of your choosing. Maybe this comes later, but kinda doubt it.
Think the story dorks will be happy too. Always thought the series lore and iconography were pretty neat, but the immediate stories they told rarely grabbed me. Some better than others ofc. BotW being especially snore zzZ. Big upgrade here, hits the right beats. Lore and timeline dorks gonna go crazy. They also just nail the hype moments lol. Won't lie, section I just finished had me like -
Just so well done how it brought one of the series oldest races full circle.

With the 4/10 Redfall talk, i completely forgot this was coming so soon. Probably because i have the adblock, but i am not seeing anything related to this game no matter where i look lmao. Maybe Nintendo knows to hide from me.
@GameboyTroy: I find it amusing he's so wrap up on Redfall's downfall, it blinded him he forgot Tears of the Kingdom is coming this soon. There are other games to talk about but Redfall shouldn't be one of them.

What can i say, MS offers quality content worth following up close.
@SolidGame_basic: Men having an existential crisis? This ad went pretty extra, like you can see not even his wife pleases him anymore.
Whole ad reads as "ughh another worthless day in my life taking the train to my worthless job. Ugh my worthless wife wants attention when I get home, I need to just get away from her. What will my life bee???"
*Holy lights from the skies beam down, Tears of the Kingdom comes into existence*
Next time man rides the train: "Wow, I never realized how pretty the grass is outside, there is meaning again. Thanks Tears of the Kingdom."

lol it kind of is a depressing video. they should've showed the kid version of him playing the old Zeldas and then cut to adulthood haha.
Is this a 16sec trailer that plays once per 24h, or are they spamming it? Not seeing any ads for the game still🤣Usually being spammed by these on twitch, but not for this game.

Are you unfamiliar with Nintendo or somethign?
Nintendo doesnt do these huge Halo 3-esque marketing campaigns by turning the releases of their games into events. The game's collectors editions have already sold out. And the game is topping charts. There is no need.
This ad is quite brilliant and shows so much. I know so many people - myself included - that just get home from an entire day of labor and smile when they can play a fun game for all what feels like a fleeting moment.

And once again, learn how algorithms work.
What collector edition isn't sold out within a day or two? Even shitty games sell em, so i am not too sure what this is supposed to mean.
We all know talking to LowIQwenzen is about as productive as talking to an AI programmed to give stupid feedback 100% of the time; but to the guy that Adblocked the title and wondering why he's not seeing ads now: BotW sold over 31 million copies. TotK already has the hype, the install base and the marketing.
And in just a few days LowIQwenzen's engagement in these threads will become minimized as he takes the backseat after realizing his snarky low IQ posts get ignored because everyone else will be too busy talking about and playing the game to care about him. Always happens to LowIQwenzen when he relishes in his failed attempts to disrupt threads.
