Why do people keep saying its the year of the ps3? Pc has had a way better line up this year. pc always beats consoles . i dont know why you even try to compare consoles to the pc.

No it doesn't.
No ****. But PC isn't doing remarkably well by its own standards. The PS3 is having the best year it's ever had.Cherokee_Jack
Very true. PC is doing fine this year, unfortunately it's only had the 1AAAE if i'm correct. Ps3 has done great with 4 AAAE anda couple of really good multiplats.
I disagree. At first this looks a very nice year to PC gaming, but few things nerfed the show: DoW II isn't as good as the first one, Starcraft II was delayed to 2010, the same that Crysis 2, and ArmA II is great but buggy, and of course, the fact that SC II is delayed to 2010 means that Diablo III will not launched at least up to 2011 window.
Even I don't like some of the best AAA titles launched to PS3 this year, both Wip3 Out HD Fury and Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion makes the year to me.
its been a pretty slow year for the pc. But even a slow year is even far better then a good yaer for consoles.

well i prefer thinking QUALITY>QUANTITY
I would actually prefer to have 5 great games than just 1 excellent games, but that's just my opinion. I agree the PS3 has had one crazy good year in the exclusive department, most of them I've thoroughly enjoyed.. Anyways, I've gotten a bunch of great games for my PC this year. My top 5 favorite PC games so far in 2009 would be: 1. Dawn Of Discovery. 2. Empire Total War. 3. Men Of War. 4. Fallen Earth. 5. ARMA II.I remember playing Supreme Commander:FA, Crysis and E:TW on the PS3. Oh wait, it can't run them. :lol:i remember playing infamous on the pc, oh wait

i am like the only pc gamer in the world that does not like crysis. What the hell is so good about it? the game play is meh the story is just so bad . only thing good about this game that stands out is the buggy engine it runs on .
p.s yes i have it .

...and pc has gotten more AA's than all consoles so yeahPC exclusive games are boring as hell for most people. No one wants to play that city builder, flight simulator garbage.

Strategy games - PC. FPS games - console.

Not just fps but shooters in general. Killzone 2, Gears 2, Uncharted 2, Halo 3, etc.

Keep dreaming. It really shows what you use your brain for.

If no one wants to play PC exclusives, why Empire: Total War (RTS) outsold Killzone 2 (FPS)?

yeah that console hardware is sure so much better than my PC hardware. Because you hear about PC hardware companies having to spend a billion dollars fixing it unlike companies like Microsoft who put together top notch machines.

I think what made Crysis so special was the fact that you could play it pretty much any way you wanted to. I didn't like it very much until I started to play the game slowly and more deliberately. Then, I really enjoyed it.
