No. It'll be one of the last few exclusives released for PS4, just like with The Last of Us on PS3. But for TLOU2, Sony/ND can easily do the same they did with TLOU. Release the game on the last part of PS4 life cycle and make an improved remaster for PS5. That way, everybody will be happy :)

So far i have no complains. This generation has been ridiculously good when it comes to quality, quantity and diversity. Even if there were no more new releases, my backlog would keep me entertained for the next 2 or 3 years.

I think Sony saw how well it worked for Switch and who doesn't want to launch a new console with a masterpiece AAA title? PS4 be damned, if I was Sony, Last of U2 and Death Stranding would be canceled on PS4 and released exclusively on PS5.

I don't think so. The Last of Us 2 will definitely end it with a bang. It's been a great console in my opinion. Even though I haven't used it all that much compared to others but that's because I don't play many modern games.

Hopefully Sony's skip-out on E3 next year will be related to the PS5. ;)

Sony is ending on an extremely arrogant note and seriously doubt Last of Us 2 and Ghosts of T will be out this Gen. if not cross gen with the good old double dip Sony has fooled you on before.

It isn't actually a bad deal. I have it for PC. I would have bought Madden and Battlefield V which would be $120 at full price. However, I got them for $100 and any other games that come about.

@davillain-: Nearly every rumor has confirmed it will have BC. It uses the same architecture so they would have to go out of their way to remove it. We also know the next Xbox will have it. It would be suicide not to have BC next gen.

@Diddies: lol BFV dropped $30 one week after release. You could have waited and got both games for $60.

It actually has a lot of games on there and $100 a year isn’t a bad deal as two brand new games and you are already over the $100 purchase. @Diddies: Heres the issue I have.

1. These streaming services are the the cheapest they will ever be right now. If popularity of these services increases so will the cost of the services.

2. DLC and season passes are not going away anytime soon. So how are companys going to make you pay for that content on games you don't even own? My guess is a more expensive tier for the service.

3. As far as the streaming services go we already have three major companies with them. Sony, MS and EA. It's only a matter of time before Activision , Ubisoft and SquareEnix have them too. Imagine having to pay 10 different monthly subscriptions just to play all the games you want.

God of War winning the GOTY made a lot of people angry again :D

If prices change in the future then I might change my mind. Also this gives gamers another option instead of just going to pay $60 for a game at the store. Imagine kids now can get $100 for their birthday or Christmas and have access to a lot of games.

And about DLC, this is irrelevant to the conversation as it will be there if you want it or not at an extra charge whether you have access or buy the game.

And do you think that these publishers will only release their games on their service and not buying the game out right? This will not happen any time soon this generation or even next as this would kill their revenue stream.I do not get the cry baby bitching over giving people options and it being a GOOD deal now.

I called it streaming because MS and Sony already have streaming services. EA is downloads but you are still renting the games on a SUBSCRIPTION service. And most subscription services will have streaming.
