Halo haters are always complaining how the entire strory isn't in all of the games, so I hope it is some sort of spin-off based off of one of the books. I don't want it to be a prequel though; I think Halo: Chronicles should be about Fall of Reach, First Strike, and Uprising.

But heck, I'm currently playing Halo 3 for the second time. I bought it before but never finished the campaign, I'm trying to now. I really dont see what all the rage is about. I like the game, but it's not mind blowing or anything. Oh well. If Halo 4 is announced, people would go crazy.

I would like to see Halo in a third person shooter view... I mean, Cheif looks pretty cool (although not super original). I think it would be cool to see him in a Gears of War style combat system.

Of course, Halo fans will actually think that's a terrible idea but let's face it. It's Halo. It would still sell like crazy.

I would prefer a new IP from bungie. But to be fair, they haven't rehashed anything. If this were ubi soft we'd be on halo 7 by now. If it were nintendo we'd have halo golf, halo kart, halo party. Three games across 8 years isn't bad at all.

But they've been around forever! I mean, there is still one on sale at this Gamestop near my town. And they went from 129.99 to like 79 bucks.

It could be that lots of people came to their senses and realised they have no need for a giant masterchief helmet, so they traded it in. You cant buy one new though, for example. They all have an ID number and they only made one shipment.

You have a PS3 tag in your sig, and all the games you've rated are either PC or PS3. I'm sure you're in a position to comment on the quality of xbox games over the years.

Also; Halo 3 was easily, easily the best of the three. How you can say it was progressively worse is beyond me. Halo 1 was amazing, Halo 2 was amazing in the multiplayer department but the campaign took a step backwards, Halo 3 was the ultimate Halo game. "Progressively worse" indeed.

And my comments were perfectly correct; saying the game got progressively worse is just silly when the third one improved on literally everything.
