I just got a ps3 controller to use on my pc. However, I got hand cramps fast as this thing is just too small for racing games. The 360 controller I don't have problems.

I have normal american sized hands, and this things feels way way way too small for accessing the triggers properly.

What say you guys?

What he said.

PS3 controller works just fine. Stop trying to grip it like a 360 controller.

My hand is 185mm long, which is just a tiny bit smaller than the average adult male hand size of 189mm. I don't get any cramps from the PS3 controller.

I play very badly using the PS3 controller to play racing games. But Also I play badly using the Xbox 360 controller as well. I am trash at racing games. I like the genre but I'm just not good at it. PS3 or Xbox 360 controllers it doesn't matter. I am terrible at Racing games/Driving games/Driving Sims.

I like Gran Turismo games, Project Gothambut I'm trash.

My answer is terrible, But not because of the PS3 controller.

So like basically I wasn't even trying to be hostiles BUT O DIGGIDY DAWG U GUYS SO WRONG I don't even like teh xbux 360, I am just saying the controller is much better for racing games. This controller is just so small, and you are lying to yourselves if you don't think that the average American is bigger than your average Asian. This feels like it was made for Asian hands, no lie.

I love the PS3 controller buttons and layout, but I agree that it's too small. It would be almost perfect(aside from the triggers of course) if they just made an XL version of it for big men like me. I'm 6'5" and I have big hands and I'm used to the PS3 controller after years of using it and it works fine, but I'd like it even more if they made a bigger version. And is there really any reason for them NOT to make an XL version? I don't get it. Everyone has different sized hands... it should be a given to make different sized controllers too.

This really. I don't know about larger but I want it to be more ergonomic - and I really wish they would lower the analogs down a notch or two. The 360's controller feels much more comfortable in this regard.

So it's small, so what? It still fits the average hand perfectly. :| There's no advantage to either controller except for preference.

How do I play them? Well normally they use the X button for the accelerator and the left analog stick to turn and stuff.

I've loved the Playstation controller ever since the Dual Shock 1 on the PSX. Never found it too small.

Since my hands are normal by the standards of the entire world, then I don't have a problem with it and neither does literally anyone else I know.

It might help if you like, do a little cardio once and a while maybe.

Love the DualShock 3, especially for games like GOW, PES/FIFA/Tekken etc but for racing games it sucks compared to the 360 controllers awesome triggers, just feels so right for racing and don't get me started on shooters...playing any FPS on the PS3 is a chore compared to the 360 and not because one has better games but purely due to the controller.

DualShock 3 - Sports/Action/Fighting superiority

Xbox 360 - Shooters/Racing superiority

Yeah, it sucks for racing games. Triggers aren't good, and I don't like using X and Square for gas/brake.

SPYDER0416

Cardio would have absolutely nothing to do with how comfortable the controller fits in his hand. Unless you're saying he spends his time gaming nonstop and his hands cramp up eventually after a long time of play, then I can agree with you.

Why the heck would you use the ps3 controller on a pc? The 360 pad actually has real drivers and is supported by games.

Develop a love for Sony, and then the controller will seem much more comfortable. I can't use it for racing games either - I have to hold the Dual Shock differently to avoid cramps, and that positioning makes for awkward trigger use (even with Real Triggers, which are an additional expense that shouldn't exist but for Sony's stupidity). Also, the triggers are way too mushy for modulating throttle/brake response in racing games.

Generally, I press the button that makes my car/hovercraft/etc go, and then I use the analog stick to steer. Sometimes I even brake! But that's just me.

I am just getting started, but I do have a Samsung 55" 3D Smart Tv with 5.1 sound. I tried Horizon on a conventional X box controller at Best Buy and a age 69 feel that I need a wheel and maybe clutch, brakes etc....or an entire simulator. Comments please on what I should buy,and why.Do places like Dave and Busters have equipment i can try?

The 360 controller is the worst one I've encountered. I have the difficulty of accessing the LB button when using analog sticks. The analog sticks are also awful!
