Mass Effect obviously, Halo is fun and all, but come on as a trilogy Mass Effect is so much better.

Seriously, 90% of the hate it gets is absolutely uncalled for. It's so well made, people here just can't seem to accept that. The reviews reflect it, and the fans reflect it. I loved that series, so like I said Halo is fun but nowhere near as deep and immersive as Mass Effect IMO.

People overreacted about the ending IMO.

I rather enjoyed it, and the game was good too. They improved a lot of stuff from ME2.

Not true, they were very enjoyable games to many people. CoD4 especially, that was excellent.

I prefer the Mass Effect series myself since they have been very consistent with quality (though in different areas or genres) and the environments, gameplay, graphics, etc. are excellent.

Also, I wouldn't say its gameplay is excellent, it's just merely "good". The powers and different skill classes made it more fun to play, and I had a blast with ME3 online, but the main reason why I loved the series was due to its atmosphere, the story, replayability, beautiful environments, and the amazing cinematics. As an entire trilogy, I enjoyed ME3 more than any other series this gen.

Name me one series that has been as consistent as Mass Effect 3 this gen.

The Batman Arkham games are very good (in fact they are up there for some of the best this gen), but they're different as a series than Mass Effect is. Basically, both are really really good and deserve to be at the top. I just happen to like Mass Effect way more.

I love both games for completely different reasons. Halo for the multiplayer and Mass effect for the single player. To compare them would be like comparing apples to oranges because they have absolutely nothing in common other then the fact that they are considered futuristic military shooters.

The only way someone could make a vote on the poll is if they liked the game better BUT that itself would not have any justifying reasons being it cannot be compared well enough to say that this vote truly matters. In the end the poll will only show how many Mass effect or Halo fans there are on this website compared to each other.
