Halo vs Mass Effect

Both are great science fiction trilogies about defeating an ancient evil alien threat, and an intergalactic war. While both stories differ in scope, and in how they went about it, both got millions of fans worldwide.

What trilogy do you think is better? Halo? Or Mass Effect?

Mass Effect is complete garbage, like most Bioware games, post NWN. Halo has been solid all around, so no hard decision for me.

Except they have totally ruined it with the last few games. Bioware games are Grade A, I have loved everything Bioware has put out. Do me even Dragon Age II stands head above heals more entertaining than any of the halo games.

Liked Halo 1 and 2, everything else in that series is trash. Even Halo 1 and 2 I would give a 6/10, 6 hour storymodes are not my thing. And I like actual characters with some depth to them. And more than just shoot, shoot, shoot, and shoot some more. Way more to do in ME, more advanced combat, dialog, story, characters, a universe brought to life and actually make you care.

Though I only beat Halo 1 and played some Halo 2,3 and Reach co-op with my nighbour so I cant say much

Well one is solely an action-based game with few open ended choices.......the other is Halo.

Tough choice.

I have to say Halo, although it is very very close and I like them both a lot.

I haven't played the third Mass Effect yet but I love the universe and gameplay much more than Halo's so I'm sure I'd go with Mass Effect.

Ohhh! Hard choice. I went with halo though because of the desparation and mysteriousness. And the elites.

The elites have the coolest voices I've ever heard.
