Gamespot's GOTY nominees revealed

Really want an exclusive to win for some butthurts. Last 2 years were pretty boring, since they picked multiplats.

I think GS is going ot pick either Guild Wars 2, Dishonored, The Walking Dead, or Journey.

I say it's between Dishonored, Guild Wars 2, and maybe Journey.

Mass 3 was the highest rated game of the year and my facorite game of the year... that said, gs will do the off the cuff choice t appear all deep and introspective on games...

I hope Guild Wars 2 wins, realistically, GW2 is rather likely to win, but Journey can take it as well.

Either The Walking Dead or Guild Wars 2 deserves to win

After the PS3 had a rough year, it still has as many exclusives nominated as any other platform. Would love to see Journey win, one becasue it is a fantastic expirience, two, because it would make system wars pretty crazy after PS3 had its weakest year.

Same here, and I'm hoping for Dishonored to win, as I'm not a fan of MMOs. Still, if GW2 won, we'd probably have some amusing damage control! :P

Mass Effect 3 will win it, game of the year awards are so predictable, it's just story of the year nowadays.

No Farcry2, FTL or Borderlands2 is dissapointing.

It's a game that focuses on freedom of the player, letting them take the route they want, and it rewards the player for being clever.

Mark of the Ninja already lost to Dishonored in the best Action/Adventure. MotN is out.

Mass Effect 3 lost to Guild Wars 2 in the best RPG and PC game. ME3 is out.

Dishonored, The Walking Dead and XCOM lost to Guild Wars 2 in the best PC game. They are out.

Halo 4 lost to Dishonored in the best 360 game. Halo 4 is out.

We've left Guild Wars 2, Journey, Spelunky and Zero Escape. My money is on GW2, unless Gamespot wants to be artsy fartsy.

Oh hail indie games! Oh hail! As you can see, half of those games are nearly perfect, almost increadible. Those are indie games. I can't wait to spit on mainstream gamers salty faces when Journey wins goty.
