Link Resident evil 4 is 2nd and CoD:MW2 is 3rd. And instead of whinning why dont you vote for the game you want ? In case you dont know, your gamespot account works on gamefaqs, i already posted the link, all you have to do you is login and vote. Oh and you can see the results of the poll by country or continent, FFX is winning in every single region, with an hughe lead. Including USA, country you say no one cares about FF. Yeah right. The whole world likes FF, you cant say the same about many other franchises. You can also see the results on each USA state. FFX is also leading on all of them. FFX is the best game of the decade and the world knows it.
Wow i'm surprised Final Fantasy X won so convincingly, would have thought The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Super Mario Galaxy or Resident Evil 4 would have won it over FFX but whatever.

Oh brother... an FF game that I had no desire to play through a second time, while everything before it except for 2 and 3 I've played through at least twice. Not a horrible game, but far, far from game of the decade.

The game itself isn't bad at all, just that there are games that I have find more enjoyable than this. I would of put either The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker or Resident Evil 4 ahead of it even though they will be saying the exact same thing to my list if I were ever to make one.

FFX was the best active story line for an RPG. This was the first RPG that sucked me in until I beat it. MGS fans: yes MGS 3 should have made it on the list, GTA should have been lower. GTA SA was merely a better Vice City, no one will ever dislike GTA just because it works too well. RE 4 was one of the best RE games ever made, new everything basically. Zelda Wind Waker was my least favorite Zelda, the whole art style was in the wrong direction, it didnt stick to me.
But FFX does deserve it, I played it through at least twice and had over 100 hours played. Boss battles were actually very strategic and intense. The sphere grid was the best level up system i've seen thus far. FFX is great in my book, it set a standard for RPGS. Name an RPG that you got bored of before 20 hours: Dragon Quest VIII.:shock: I tried to play it, but I got lost and forgot where to go. The game was meh.

I never post one GF or the shared forums. Honestly, it doesn't matter who voted, I just disagree with alot of those spots in the poll. Seems I disagree with alot of people.

Nothing, i'm just pointing out that judging from all of GameFAQ's polls, most of the people that frequent that site are FF fans. So it makes sense that a game like FFX would win game of the decade over there.
This thread just made my day. FFX is my favorite game of all-time. It was the game that convinced me that games can be every bit as engrossing, engaging, and dramatic as a movie or a book. Like that first book that teaches you the power of the written word, FFX is that first book for me.

It's hillarious just beause the game people would want as game of th decade isn't, they get all angry and try to discredit the majority vote. It's humerous because if the majority vote was the game they wanted, they would agree, hipocrites.

That claim is baseless and clearly your opinion, a game being in the top 10 means it is a well established franchise, clearly worthy of being game of the decade, you can say that about any game in the top 10 if they had won. And you clearly don't know anything about 4-chanif you think they hijacked a poll and voted an amazing game to the #1 spot. Gamefaq's has had a character battle had a tetris piece won, Gamespot had Gordon Freeman, I don't know what was more of a joke option, L-Block for a character battle or FFX for game of the decade, basically G-Faqs is a joke.
