FF XIII will NOT go to the 360 (FACTS)

Well, after seeing countless posts about FF XIII's exclusiviness on the PS3, I've decide to make a thread with genuine facts on why FF XIII will NOT go to the 360. Will an FF Spin-off (Like Versus XIII) go to the 360? Possibly. But, this is about the main FF XIII game.

FACT 1) The majority of the people who bought 360s bought it for FPSs. Look how badly Blue Dragon flopped.

FACT 2) Japan is where FFs userbase mainly is. Coincedantly, Japan is also the place the 360 is doing poorly in.

FACT 3) With the minor of exception FFIX, every PS Main Series FF game has done very well.

FACT 4) Square Enix has said it themselves "We don't want to see the PS3 fail. But, then again we don't want to see it win by a mile."

Even as sure as I am of Final Fantasy XIII's exclusiveness to the PS3, that was a pretty terrible argument.

Fact 1: Companies are buisnesses.

Fact 2: Buisness want to make money.

You forget that Japan loves Final Fantasy its the Number 3 most popular RPG over there next to Pokemon and Dragon warrior/Quest.

The last fact can be seen as FFXIII going to the 360, because while SE don't want to see Sony fail, they don't want to see them win by a mile so may put FFXIII on the 360 as well. I am sure they will not, and planned on getting FFXIII when it comes out (probably around earily09, maybe late08).

20% doesn't give you power to make decisions. You need 51% for that to happen. Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo all have stakes in third party companies. It doens't mean that they are forced to go exclusive.

I don't know about that. They could release a port a year later on the X360 since its easier to port from PS3 to X360..... if the PS3 userbase doesn't pick up and the X360 continues to sell more in the U.S. Everybody is in it to make money and RPGs like Oblivion (and soon to be Mass Effect) do sell if they are good games.

I hope thats not the case as it would further invalidate my purchase of the PS3.
