Just announced at the Sony business conference, PlayStation truly going third party. How do Ponies feel now after years of insulting Xbox's exclusives for hitting PC?
I'll believe it when I see it actually happen. If if ends up that way then it saves me money since I won't need to buy a PS5.

I decided to skip next gen consoles anyway, building a new rig again. How many exclusives did you actually care about? HZD was it for me, the rest were not that interesting.
Don't most platforms already have a YouTube app? What more do you need to fully experience Sony's exclusives besides popcorn?
Nooooo, Sony why are you doing this, you are supposed to be the chosen one leading us all T.T
Do hope they releases Demon souls for streaming. I heard we can set up custom private servers but I rather go through official means with dedicated serves. Can't wait for this!
Cows have really been taking it on the chin lately. I almost, almost mind you, feel sorry for'em. :P
If you can download PS5 games to PC, then I'm skipping on buying the console. If not, looks like I'm all in again.
Erm, streaming those games might only be on PS5 for all we know.
Where does it say anywhere this is happening on other platforms? I see a picture which states this in no degree and nothing else.
I really hope you don't actually believe what you wrote.
@hello505: Where does it state that?
@hello505 Missed the most important slide. The one I included shows that Sony wants to bring games to those, "with or without a console."
Buckle up folks
@goldenelementxl: oh, ok, let's wait and see them.
It's time for cloud wars.
Not when Sony and Nintendo are using Microsofts cloud tech. That war is gonna be between Microsoft and Google so far. And with Sony and Microsoft teaming up with Microsoft, I would put my money on them

Might as well port more games to PC at this point.
I don't really want to suffer from the drawbacks of streaming, and I don't really want to buy a PS5 if I don't have to.
@goldenelementxl: yeah but that's still only streaming and only to PC. So how's it different to how it is now?
You could also stream to mobile. And who's to say the Sony streaming "app" wouldn't be available elsewhere? There's already whispers that the Xbox Live app for the Switch is more than just account access and a storefront. The portable and static client devices mentioned in that slide could mean anything. PS5 integration with TV's, mobile devices, anything. This swings the door wide open

I'm most interested in what "entitlement devices" are. What the hell does that mean?
@hello505:
They're still exclusive since you're still playing the Playstation version of those games via streaming.
@Random_Matt: God of War, the next Naughty Dog and sucker punch IPs, HZD, and anything else their studios put out. Plus Fromsoft still owes them one game, I believe.
Sony makes the kind of exclusives I enjoy the most so I get their console every gen traditionally.

So where does this say day one exclusives? Where dose it say you don't need a console?
Streamed with or without console doesn't really mean anything since Sony is already doing that now streaming to PSvita and cell phones...FROM YOUR PS4 system!
The only platforms it's showing in that diagram is PS3, PS4 and Next gen.
The reaching and desperation from you game starved xbox fanboys is hilarious. Keep reaching.
NOTHING in that diagram says any of what you're suggesting.
Time to bring delusional and geeking xbox fanboys back to earth who hope Playstation looses all it's exclusives like you have lost with xbox because you guys don't buy games.
Pay close attention to what is says after "PlayStation streaming".
So yeah, technically you could "steam" to PC but doesn't mean you won't need a PS4/PS5 in order to achieve that feat.
lol now you can go back to pretending you hate all Sony games like you've been doing all gen before you exposed yourselves here.
@boxrekt: You really need to take your fanboy glasses off before you read. “PlayStation experiences can be seamlessly enjoyed independent of time and place - with or without a console”.
That’s pretty black and white. And this isn’t PSNow. So we shouldn’t compare it to that failure
@Litchie:
Well, according to MC, GS, and nearly every other gaming review outlet out there, the ps4 have a few great AAA scoring exclusives under their belt consecutively. Oh we're generalizing YOUR biased opinion over the professional reviews, ok carry on.
When you think about it, Microsoft actually made this happen without knowing. By allowing Sony to use Azure and its global servers, they've pretty much unlocked the option for anyone to play Sony's exclusives. From Xbox, Nintendo and PC fans, thank you Microsoft.

Whelp its shaping up to be an interesting future. SW its time to start backtracking and draw new battle lines. PS4 has been killing it not only selling hardware but actually selling those exclusive games. Yet streaming and services is the future. Somehow the loser xbox has been the one who is forward thinking all this time lol.
