No, I don't expect it to flop. If they really are gonna do a $300 initial cost with a subscription, I am quite sure this will lure tons in who may not know better.

If even some of the negative romours are true which considering how correct the they were about the PS4 and the 720 rumours seemed to have the bigger chance of being real, plus the twitter issue I think the console will be a flop but with early success. 

I think there are alot of people which will pick up the 720 and be because they had a 360 and want everything to transfer and didn't like the PS3 this gen or hardly any of their friends owned a PS3 and they would assume to get a 720 again this gen to have that connection with friends assuming it will be better next gen. So I think from the casual consumer will give the 720 early success but later down the line it will start to faulter anf become the flop that I think it will while PS4 I think will have strong sales from the start from people that are in the know and people that see it being played around peoples houses etc after. 

Also the 720 I heard is also ment to have a monthly payment plan like how you buy a digital box, like sky or virgin tv if this is true purely on the type of price I think alot of people will get a 720 and deal with what ever problems come just becuase they don't have to save. It's a shame if the rumours are true but because of a pricing plan and people unwilling to save we end up with what would have been a flop being the most popular console bringing down a truly well built and designed machine and lowering the quality of games to come.

Next xbox flops, if americans and british dont see the value in it. That was the biggest market for OG xbox and 360.

It won't flop, bu tit might not be the best option for hardcore gaming (ick a term i hate so much) but its main focus may be media and it may do really well in that aspect. Since we don't know the details yet though its impossible to even guess really.

The rumors are horrible and all but its still way to early to tell.

As far as the UK goes, there certainly does'nt seem to be a problem with internet access.. Why do some parts of the US have such bad internet connection then? I thought the US was suposto be a leading country concerning technology! Whats the problem/ And why isn't it being addressed?

I've never owned a PS3, but I have used it enough to base my opinion.

I voted no, only because I think it'l fail as a gamers choice for a console, but it will be the go to system for casuals and young family members, being next gen's Wii.

Microsoft would have to do things so horribly that it would make the console a complete failure. I mean listen, regardless of the rumors this is a company that has been in this market for over a decade now. It is not as though they just entered it. They know what can hurt a system and they know what can prevent it from selling. They aren't going to drop all this money into this thing without at least having some kind of assurance that it will do well. All these rumors could be just that, someone pushing out all this crap out into the social media world to get people buzzing about the next xbox. And look, so far if that is the case it has worked. Any kind of publicity is good publicity if your main goal is to get the word out.
