Definitely doing a second playthrough 6 months to a year out with a new GPU, and harder difficulty.

I agree with this list. The implementation of ray tracing in Cyberpunk is quite impressive.

That's awesome on CP2077. It really is an awesome looking game with all the eye candy turned on. I am thoroughly impressed with the game. Sometimes I just stop playing to take it in.

I can see why, but it's also really shitty in areas. I'm waiting to try the RT in actual motion, but it is definitely gorgeous with regards to that aspect.

Yeah that shot is some awful cherry picking lol. That being said, Kojima games typically have some top notch character work. Still, only a small slice of a games overall visuals.

Anyways, most visually impressive 2020 game I played was Eternal, but most of the games I play aren't "graphics king" material.

Alyx has top not art-direction to bolster it's tech.

You think optimization and balance should be factored. CP2077 achieves cardboard cutout quality superficial presentation but scrutinize the world by say talking to NPCs or exploring and it all falls apart.

Much prettier on PC than consoles no doubt but still the same bad game.

CyberPunk looks great. It's too bad that character animations are pretty bad, including facial animations. Looks good in still shots but unnatural in some aspects in motion.

DS on PC is also quite a good looking game. Better than on Playstation, with higher frames too.

It looks stiffer than LOU2, Death Stranding, and Alyx, during curated moments for sure. The lack of good motion capture is evidence of this. I mean come one, they don't even move their arms while driving cars. Everyone grabs the wheel at 10 and 2 and they don't even steer. That sh*t is super lazy.

Lets us reward a game that runs like sh!t on any platform make sure we support an industry that dose not release complete games bravo make it a new normal worst part them complaining about ghost of Tsushima character models and ignore all the issues CP2077 has wow bravo what an disappoint i see a great future for gaming if the trend continues keep supporting it the should have given it to doom 64 at least it playable

Its not though, not even the PC version. not when RDR2 on PC exists. I was very underwhelmed with the graphics in CP2077 tbh. And I agree with Death Stranding on PC being a very good looking game too even though there's not much going on, its still far better looking than CP imo. Best lighting maybe but Minecraft RTX and Quake 2 RTX do RT lighting just as well if not better.

I delayed playing Ghost of Tsushima and Uncharted Lost Legacy on the PS4 Pro to play on the PS5 (@davillian- con me into trying Lost Legacy claiming its better than UC4) . So, I have games to play on the system. I just have to finish a few other games I am playing on the Series X first. 😅

You also delayed to play TLOU2, which was also my original plan. How is it doing on the ps5? 😎

TLOU2 was considered. I am still considering if the game is worth playing. I don't want to spend most of my time watching cutscenes like in Uncharted 4 (I despise that game).

The PS5 is okay. Mainly because I experience things no-one mentioned. The system has coil whine, the controller has sharpish edge at the base of the handle, setup took longer than I anticipated, the interface takes sometime getting used to and the plastic covering has stress marks (not stretch marks 😉). So, its okay. I did enjoy Astrobot for what it's worth. I have already purchased Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-man Ultimate (not for me though) and Lost Legacy.

I despise UC more than you do (by 53.8%), and TLOU2 is my goty for the year. Gameplay loop of the UC games is atrocious. The same cannot be said about TLOU2. Gameplay is the strongest part of the game.

Just don't play it on Easy or Normal. AI is blind and doesn't do any flanking.

I just got it for $30. I would not be playing it soon. Its just been added to my gaming queue.
