Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.8Ghz
2GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2
MSI Geforce 8600GTS OC-edition
mix of medium/high settings at 1280x720 30fps.
Edit: I have a 360 and Wii =P
E6600
8800 GTX
Ran at 1920x1200 on very high until the last few levels. Last level with the final boss forced me to reduce graphics a lot though. WAY too much stuff going on graphically. Fire, NPCs, Waves, Explosions, Giant textured models, Physics all over the place, and me swearing left and right at wtf is going on. Was great!
7900GS, 2 gigs DDR2 ram, Pentium D 945 dual core processor 3.4ghz High at a constant 45 FPS. Of course, I haven't even bought the full retail version yet. Been too busy playing other games.Vandalvideo
High at 45fps with those specs? You must be running it at 800 x 600 or even lower, unless your lying.

Nope, its called tweaking, and theres absolutely nothing wrong with my specs.[QUOTE="Truffle-Shuffle"][QUOTE="Vandalvideo"]7900GS, 2 gigs DDR2 ram, Pentium D 945 dual core processor 3.4ghz High at a constant 45 FPS. Well your not running everything at high thenTruffle-ShuffleVacuous statement. I'm running it at the same graphical fidelity as high with minor tweaks like LOD foliage and shadowing.

Pentium D sucks. You're right, he's not running at high. Prob. 1280x720, or similar res. at medium to low.
Tweaking or not. Pentium D, with that graphics card is not going anywhere with Crysis. I'm sure he can play it but at what cost.
Yup, at 30 frames on high settings, with a few Very High ones like 3d waves and god rays on.
e6400 OC'ed to 2.4, 8800GT and 2 GB ram.
A lot of people are just going to vote no or technicallly yes just to flame on PC gaming.... or because they aren't even PC gamers... Better thread would be in PC Games not here.... Kind of pointless. Well I can run it on my laptop, not my desktop but I don't even use my desktop anymore because I'm going to be building a new one. My specs:
Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz T7700, Geforce 8600m, 2GB Ram, and Vista Utlimate. I think that's everything...

The 7900GS is one of the top end DX9 cards, and a Pentium D945 3.4ghz DUAL CORE PROCESSOR i on par with atleast an e6600. So please, learn before you attempt to roll with the big boys.

What?? NO Pentium D can compete with a C2D Vandal. The C2D is simply much more efficient processor. Period.
And people with tweaked rigs with 8800 cards and quad cores are getting about the frames you claim to be getting. A 7900 GS just can't do that.
Here, I popped an e6600 against your Pentium D. Let's see the results ;

If you were to look at a benchmarking tool for hours on end, but in terms of practical performance the Pentium D 945 is practically on par with a e6600. I'm running the game at high settings with a constant 45FPS after having tweaked LOD foliage, turned off shadows, and changed the ligthing without losing much, if any, graphical fidelity.[QUOTE="TheCrazed420"]Absolutely and totally wrong. Being more specific with your tweaks , you may be right. Object detail on low helps a lot, as well as no shadows. By lower lighting, do you mean shaders on medium? Then its definitely believable. But no longer running on high, really. And having no shadows is definitely losing graphical fidelity.

My game chugs even on High now for some reason ( 8800 GTS 640 ) 3 GB , Q6600 Normal.
Thats at 1280 x 1020 instead of my native 1650 x 1050 even :( ... dunno what happened, was pretty fine before.

It's been awhile since I've had the demo installed, but I had my resolution to about 1600X900 or roughly there equivalent there-of. I turned down draw distance, turned down LOD foliage (which is vegitation density), turned of shadows, and changed the filtering to some extent. I've been doing these CVAR tweaks ever since vanilla cod, I'm used to it. PS: Shadows do not any practical graphical fidelity in any way, shape or form. I ALWAYS turn shadows off and it has no affect on the gameplay or my perception of it.

Well one things for certain, Crysis is probably the most tweakable game in PC gaming history, so anything is possible.

edit: nevermind
Runs smooth everything is on max:
Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700
2 pieces of XFX Geforce 8800 GTX Ultra
4 GB of Ram

First off, the 7900GS is pretty much dead even with ATi's X1950 Pro. The strongest DX9 contender, is ATI's 1950 XTX, which I am using, simply put. And 99% of the reviews agree with me.
P4 2.95 Ghz , 1 Gig 333Mhz ram (I bought what I thought was 2Gig 667, but I guess thats what happens when you buy stuff really cheap from an unauthorized dealer. one of my ram sticks stopped working)
and x1950 Pro 256Mb.
I could run the demo on all medium, a couple high, and high physics with playable framerates (around 25). I was surprised actually.
