I used 1 month out of 3 months for $1 right now. Have not actually used the service yet, but I will. mostly got it for the access to playing online.

I am, it has saved me a ton of money.

Every month has at least 1-2 games I look forward to, coming to the service.

yes (kind of) they have to log into the account that has gamepass to install the game on the console but any game installed on the console any user account on that console can play the game. The GP subscriber account has to have that console as their "home console" .. if you family share with a person not living with you then your "home" console needs to be the one not at your house and you would have to trust them with your login credentials to download games (they can use the gold feature of GP without logging in). On the console you have in your possession you just put your account on it (assuming you are the GPU subscriber) and do not need to set it as home xbox

I got a Series X last week, I'll be doing a trial sub of GP starting this weekend. But that promo of 3 months for $1 seems to be gone. Current offering is one month trial for $1 and then $15 bucks after that. I'll see if it's worth it.

Yeah I bought a year of something for $60 and upgraded. I don't think I will renew tho unless there is something specific I want to play.

I switched to Linux for most of my desktop use, so I can't use the app unless I boot back into Windows. Most Steam games just work on Linux - it's great.

I'm also not keen on MS following suit on the exclusivity bullshit. I'm going to dial back my support for them and use of their ecosystem. I still think Game Pass is great and will totally grab a month here and there to play certain games.

whatever Gold you have left gets converted. Your best option is to max out your gold to 3 years and then do the $1 deal .. you will then end up with 36 months of GPU

Not a Game Pass user and I will never be a Game Pass user. I prefer to choose the games I play and I choose to own them rather than rent them.

I get about 8000-9000 points per month now. I started using microsoft rewards again sometime last year. I currently have 73880 points. I don't usually buy games on MS store. The last game I bought was the witcher 3 in a sale. I typically do the daily sets and searches in microsoft rewards, complete gamepass quests and use the microsoft reward app on xbox to complete the weekly set whenever possible and get the free points they offer sometimes on that app. A year of gamepass ultimate with the level 2 discount on Microsoft rewards is like 140k points.It's much harder to get points in canada because you get less rewards compared to the US.

Yeah im happy renting games. Its so much cheaper than buying all those games and you still get the same experience from it.

My subscription expired a month ago there's nothing I want to play until Forza horizon 5 and halo.

Impressive that 61% of SW users are subscribed to gamepass, even more so when SW mainly consists of hardcore cows!

Not really the type of gamer for this service but I'll be buying MS games on steam. Age4, Psychonauts 2, and Halo Infinite.

Have it for PC and I haven't paid 1 month yet. I'm not sure why any of your are actually paying for this. Every time I turn around these Microsoft points are giving me a few month.
