A note for console gamers about 4k

In the Master Race, we consider 4k to be 4k/60fps. If your' computer can run games at 4k/30fps, it can't do 4k...it's capable of doing 2k. Half the pixel information over time is missing compared to 4k/60fps.

Just wanted to let you guys know, because I'm fully aware there is a definition bifurcation when it comes to "4k" for pc players, and console players.

Please...rage, discuss...but most importantly, have some fun.

That’s because PC Gamers game on shitty little LCD monitors with crap response times. Even the 144hz LCD’s have shit response times that cause motion blur and black object smearing.

I mean I could say that VR users will be running games at 4K x 4K per eye (32 megapixels) 120 Hz in a few years and still have graphics that surpass any other games since it'll be easier to run than 4K (8.3 megapixels) at 60 FPS on a monitor.

You could even say the same thing for PSVR2 on PS5. What are you going to say when those console players are playing at 4K per eye 90 Hz? You'd have to use VR to up them.

PC in the meantime has a slew of exclusives that will not come to consoles. Better yet, there are more games that come out for PS4/PC or Xbox One/PC than there are games that come out for PS4/Xbox One. You're fighting a losing battle and that's even cheating by having two platforms whereas PC is a single platform. Individually, come on, not even a contest.
